Lovely little reel from Martha Lily Photography in the dark at Radfords on Tuesday night, a very late finish but great to get the ponies out having been earlier with 3 others … 4yo Tabby and I jumped a small class for her first course experience, she was impeccably behaved, my Millie had envy and decided she wanted to jump 8 yo Billie around his first ever course experience also being impeccably behaved and picking up rosettes & Millie C came with us with her own horse mustard also doing his first competitive round and gaining Ribbons 😍 successful & enjoyable evening

*SOLD*
Viewed vetted and collected within 7days of arriving, not how I would normally do things but I have known the mare for several years so I did know what I was selling before she arrived
New arrival this morning

It’s been a while but a change of bit is needed as this will be my first time competing fox this weekend as she will stand in for Jack who decided rolling in mud was more important than going to an event 🤕
Rathdown star, as leggy as ever but at least when there’s no tension he can leave the fences 🆙
His first time jumping on the grass arena would you believe 😬
Little 4yo Cove went home today after Mils had a play with him, little super 🌟 3 weeks of school work and he’s come on a treat
Artie came in yesterday and was very chilled in the field today and we have a 4yo arriving tomorrow on holiday schooling livery. Thank god I have a good team helping me out with all the yard duties #greatful we also need to find time to do more feild maintenance the fence lines have been taken over by thistles 😨
Change of plan last minute due to not getting off the WL at Howick with both Millie’s horses so it was a trip to Tushingham instead, the venue has changed alot since I last went and the boys approved with 4/4 double clears with a 🥈 a 4th a 🥉 and win 🥇 in the meter
Really pleased with Raff and Foxy yesterday, our first BD at Kelsall Hill hill, nice to have a chilled day off the yard with my ponies both scoring over 70% & just out the money but I think and I repeat think “they have their qualifying scores for regionals 🤞🏻
Evenings like these are priceless, love working the horses on the grass which is finally feeling superb and worth the expensive grass seed we originally put down, it’s taken time but thanks to George for mowing it at the weekend it is now felling great under foot and the horses love it 😍
Lovely little 4yo Tabitha owned by Liz Morris
had her first trip in the lorry and first session away from home, she was foot perfect and jumped a few small fences to. Successful day 😊
🥰 so maybe he’s taking time because he’s growing like a bean sprout, he didn’t originally move like this either, I’m so glad Iv never been obsessed or even interested in age classes, this one definately wouldn’t be ready and we have his future at the forefront of his training.Que has recently turned 5 and he just keeps growing and changing, also very lucky that owner breeder Janet Fursier has been patient with our journey so far, time is the essence!
On paper yesterday was a fail, but to me it was far from it. Nearly 2 years later and I was back out there, some stunt rider moves (if waving front legs was part of the question) riding my socks off and getting jumped off 😂 the boys got to a party and I was buzzing until nearly home when I couldn’t contain the yawning. Jacks first BE and Raffs first in 3 years we have a starting point and I have goal to set about, bring on the next 😬 couldn’t have done it without the girls help and support or owners 🥰
Unfortunately Millie’s British pony Championships has been obandoned this week so one gutted child, Tonto jumped insane in her lesson this week and she was feeling very positive 😭 all horses now heading to chillington at the weekend x
Que by Westpoint Quickfire now 5yrs old as of last week and thankfully we seem to be growing up, I don’t think his owner will mind me saying he’s challenging me lol I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t, he’s curtainly putting my many years of experience to use, as well as my core, patience and at times stickability 😂 but there is so much to like about this big lanky lad and I no it will all be worth it all eventually 🥰
Last weekend we trucked to Aston le walls very very early, fox just wasn’t herself and Mils retired but Duke was great for their last 100 before stepping up and the stats from their 3 100 events have put them to the top of the leader board for wales and West Midlands U18s so now the long wait to hold on to a top 10 for Bishop Burton championships 😬😬
Schooling holiday livery Deli was leaving today just as a pony schooling livery was arriving.
Deli is an ROR for Dressage and new arrival has done zero arena work but here to be educated to become a pony club pony.
Tont reminding us he’s still on springs, Mils didn’t feel he jumped all that well at Osberton so wanted a quiet spin to see how he felt and proved he obviously just didn’t really like the ground last week…
Our little champions & home for the badminton action
👀 for new best friend
HS QUICKTHORN is a homebred 16h rising 7yo By westpoint Quickfire (big star) by a TB x Colin diamond mare
Quickie is low mileage due to rider having 2 babies since the start of his education but this has done him no harm he is clean with no lumps or bumps and has been slowly produced since my return to the saddle, hacks alone and good in country traffic, good in open spaces and easy on the yard (currently out at night and in in the day ) good to shoe but currently barefoot as has good feet so saving on expenses.
Quickie has attended arena hires and group lessons indoors and out. He travels well and stands on the lorry. He has just started venturing out to witness collecting rings and will continue to progress whilst he is with me. Been to his first XC schooling jumping small steps ditches and water complex’s and proved there is an event horse in the making giving a fantastic feel over his fences.
Would love to see him with an ambitious teen looking to produce their own horse and will only be sold to the right person as this is a sad sale to finance daughters event season and we just can’t keep them all. 16 🥕
