Well Fun Fact really. This is the gorgeous Cinnamon, the Standard Poodle or so I thought 😲 He’s actually a Royal Standard Poodle as he stands 26cm tall, 2cm taller than the standard at 24cm - who knew - well all the poodle owners I’m sure 😄

It’s suddenly getting hard saying farewell to the lovely dogs I’ve been grooming and watching grow.
Milo has always been a fabulous boy to groom since his first puppy visit and I will miss him loads ❤️🥹

⭐️⭐️GROOM OF THE WEEK ⭐️⭐️
This is Rudi, a 16 week old Hungarian Pumi. He came in for his first puppy groom on Saturday and his coat has to be treated differently to other breeds as it’s made up of 50% soft and 50% coarser hair and is curly. He needs to be combed through, bathed and left to dry naturally to allow the coat to curl back up.
The Hungarian Pumi are a herding
breed with Puli, Terrier and Spitz DNA.
Really interesting to research a new breed type and how to groom them. The pics are Rudi bathed and then dry at home. Lovely temperament 😍

This is Jay and I first groomed him when I set up Ockley Dog Wash during my training. Let’s just say it wasn’t a huge success as I was grooming him on his dining table and he wasn’t overjoyed by the whole experience 😄
3 years on and we’ve both come a long way - proud of us both ☺️

And so it begins - the dreaded tick season is upon us. Please make sure to check your pet’s body for ticks especially around the head, neck, ears and feet, although the one I found on Archie was on the base of his tail!!!

This is Ziggy who sadly receives little applications and we really cannot understand why!

He is a stunning collie cross who is exceptionally loyal 🧡

He walks very well on/off the lead and has fantastic recall 🐾

Ziggy can be a little nervous of new situations but once he’s bonded with a person & they give him some reassurance his confidence certainly grows 🥰

Ziggy has a lovely playful side to him too & would love to be homed with a companion 🐶

Goes to Toffee, purely because she came in caked in dried mud and I thought I wouldn’t be able to get her clean but hey presto, she went home fluffy, smelling gorgeous and mud free - for a few hours anyway!!!
