It’s amazing how time flies. It’s been a month since Samantha joined the CO2art family! 🥰 She has enriched her astonishing fish tank with a solid CO2 injection kit, using a CO2 Pro-SE regulator and a bazooka atomizer. 👌 On @thesmokingbotanist profile, there are colorful, carnivorous plants and rare, domestic plant species but above all you can accompany her aquascaping adventure! 😁 Today, we would like you to know her a little bit more so we decided to ask her a few questions. 😉 👉 How did you get interested in the aquarium hobby? I set up a fish tank at the beginning of this year specifically for the dirty water that's usually wasted after a water change. I grow a lot of tropical plants so fish water is like liquid gold for them! It makes me laugh really, seeing how that little idea has turned into... almost a lifestyle. In 2020 I was exposed to monster fish tanks (1000L+) which started me into the hobby. Although I have to say, shrimps have really stolen my heart. I literally keep my shrimp tank at my bedside! They are fascinating to watch, it is much better than a TV! 👉 Where did the decision come from to take your aquarium to the next level with CO2? I enrich my aquarium with CO2 because if I'm being honest, I'm really in it for the plants!! I do whatever I can to help my houseplants grow, it only makes sense to do the same for the ones in my fish tank. Growing without CO2 can totally be a defeating journey- at least in my experience. Don't get me wrong, low tech tanks are cool... but the integrity of a plant's structure is unmatchable once it's grown with CO2. Working with the plants in my tank prior to CO2 and after, one can notice how much CO2 helps them grow. Leafs that normally rip easily are suddenly vigorous and bending without breaking, it's really impressive seeing the difference. 👉 What Aquarium do you have at the moment?
