Well folks
Yesterday was the winds
Today the allotments has a thick covering of snow lol
The main road outside to us has not been gritted so

It might not be a good idea to pop up and check on any damage

I need to request that all plot holders attend site tomorrow
To inspect their plots as we have suffered a huge amount of damage already today unfortunately

I’ve just received notification from the council telling us the Torphin railway bridge at Harburn Golf course will be closed to traffic for 3-5 days for safety barrier repairs

After a lot of conversation with Liam Kane from the council transport dept we have had assurances that local businesses and local residents will be allowed to pass through the closure

If in the event of access not being granted by the contractor to anyone I’d say contact me on my mobile and I’ll come down to resolve it

We might just have to use either side of the bridge as a car park
I’m sure the contractors will want to go home at some point lol

Totally disgusted at how plot holders think this is an acceptable way of handing back plots
This time I’ve had 2 plots handed back by 1 plot holder Iona Mohammed

Unfortunately going forward I need to be more proactive about plots that are not in respectful manner
