Hi everyone, I want to start this lengthy post by taking the opportunity to say an enormous thank you to you all for the last 20 years that I have had the absolute honor of being trusted to groom and look after your gorgeous doggies. some of you have been with me from the very begining when I started mobile with my little pooch mobile, and some of you for the last 14 years onwards when I moved to Mersea to start my beautiful family and get married. I have had the most amazing 9 years in my little Pooch Salon on barfield road and you have all been so supportive, especially in the last few years that have been very difficult for my family and I can't emphasise enough how truly grateful I am to you all for your patience and understanding when I've had to close unexpectedly or rearrange doggies to care for my late dad and also my children, my family mean the world to me and you have enabled me to balance being a business owner and a mummy which can be a challenge at the best of times! Some of you may be aware and some not that myself and my husband Lee bought Mersea island fish bar on the High street last year from the lovely Sel and Chris and as you can imagine that has further put a lot of preassure on our family, not that we don't relish the hard work! Our two lovely boys Vinnie and Joey are now approaching the end of primary school and the start of new challenges and adventures as they move on to Senior school and the time has come for me to re assess what's best for our little family and where I am most needed so I have made the decision not to renew my lease on the salon at the end of March as we just can't possibly predict with certainty what the next 9 years have in store and I want to be available to both the children and our exciting new venture at the fish bar without the worry of also juggling the grooming salon too, and it means I will have an opportunity to see my husband more regularly lol! I believe I have the majority of you booked in for your final appointments in January and February but I do still have a few spaces reserved in february for existing customers that may not have rebooked in again at their last appointment. I will be putting together a list of other local groomers that have availability to take on new customers and will have that on display for you at the salon to take a picture of for reference, they are all wonderful groomers with lots of experience who I know will care for your doggies just as well as I have xx the lovely Sam and Nicole from Tails of wigborough are planning to take over the salon at the end of March and once they have refurbished the space and put their own stamp on it they will update you all as to their planned opening of the new salon. Josie will be continuing to groom and will keep all her customers updated as to their appointments also during this time x
Thank you all again for your unwavering support and custom and I hope to still see your lovely faces at the fish bar and will make sure their is a jar of treats at the ready on the counter so I can come out and say hello to the furry ones when I am working 🥰 ###
Lots of love
Pammy
