🎄🐾 Mistletoe may look festive, but it can be very dangerous for dogs if ingested. Even small amounts can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, drooling or more serious problems like heart issues. 🐶 Pick toys that are large enough your pet can’t swallow them.
🐱 Choose sturdy, pet-safe materials that won’t splinter or tear easily.
🐰 Skip strings, ribbons or small parts that could be swallowed.
🦴 Keep an eye on chew toys, even tough ones can wear down or break over time.

🐶14 Puppies?! That’s a Big Litter! A Labrador recently made headlines after giving birth to an incredible 14 puppies! 😮 While that’s unusually large, it’s a great chance to look at the averages: most dogs have litters of 5–6 puppies, but this varies by breed.

🐶Smaller breeds, like Chihuahuas, usually have 3–4 pups
🐕Larger breeds, like Golden Retrievers, often have 6–10 pups

Other factors like the mother’s age, health, nutrition and the father’s genetics also play a role in litter size. Whether it’s a handful or a whole crew, each puppy is a bundle of joy! What’s the biggest litter size you’ve ever encountered?
