The most unflattering angle ever🫣
Lana will only stand still if I sit on the table with her, clearly it’s so she can attack me for cuddles whenever she wants🤣🤣
I love adding some playtime at the end of a puppy introduction, not only does it start creating a bond between me and the pup but also lets them have some fun in the salon🫶🏻
Not a care in the world, I can’t believe this is her first time! Proud of you Willow🤩
Loki is so chill whilst he gets dried🤩
My new client Ellie has came and stolen my heart!
She isn’t a fan of having her head and ears dried so she needed some cuddles for support whilst I massaged her head and ears as a nice little distraction from the dryer.
We took breaks to allow her ears to air dry and so she wasn’t too overwhelmed.
We didn’t get them completely dry but she left happy and thats all I ask for!
A positive experience is so much better than a stressed out dog with dry ears!🫶🏻
Lovely Jake here suffers with arthritis.
Unfortunately this means he struggles massively with standing up for long periods of time and sadly grooming can involve a lot of standing up.
However, I allowed Jake the freedom of making the choice to let me know when he needed a break. I am more than happy to do whats needed for my furry clients, including working around them and keeping them comfortable.
This meant Jake had his pads shaven out and his nails clipped with me on the floor😃
Love having a little playtime on a puppy intro! It creates a better and more positive experience with coming into the salon and helps us to start creating a bond🫶🏻
So little Reggie here likes to think my hands are something to snack on whilst drying him, so today I attempted a distraction for him and it has worked wonders!
Sometimes a little out the box thinking can really benefit everyone (and save my fingers😂)
Very proud of how far he has come♥️
Puppy introductions are so so SO important for the grooming process!
Little Ernie here has only had 2 intro sessions but look how relaxed and chilled out he is on what is a ‘scary’ part of the groom for many dogs.
I offer these introductions for just £15 a session and you can do as many as you like until they hit 6 months old.
Not only do the dogs get used to the grooming process, they can start to get to know me and we can start to build a trusting relationship together. They can get familiarised with the grooming table, the noises and get comfortable with their surroundings!
Whats included in the intro -
• Bathing & Drying.
• Complete brush out.
• Sanitary area clipped.
• Nail clip.
• Ear clean.
• Pads shaven out.
• Clearing the eyes of hair if required.
• Perfume.
Is it even a puppy intro if you don’t get a cuddle after?🥰🥰
Murry absolutely smashing it!🤩🤩
Ted paid in licks for his groom🤪
