I don’t often post like the one I’m about to but I just wanted to say that over the last couple of months I’ve had a few people just not turn up for their appointments and they don’t let me know. Just because I work from home, it’s a business that I run and then when I can’t make another appointment asap due to the diary being busy.. I either end up squeezing them in which isn’t easy when I have another job and a personal life which I getting less and less due to squeezing people in or they go else where. So please can I ask , if you book an appointment, and can’t make it for whatever reason , please let me know so that I can book someone else in, other than lose a client and income because they can’t wait. I’ve been incredibly lucky over the 18 years and it’s not happened much but the last couple of months it seems to be happening more and I do understand how sometimes we have to reschedule and I also may have to reschedule due to life but I don’t want to have to Introduce paying a deposit on booking as the majority turn up when they‘re booked in.

Hey I hope you and your furry one’s are all well. I thought I’d just give a little update as to where I am with appointments at the moment as I don’t have any left in May and June is filling up with Hen do’s and weddings ( all very exciting) but it doesn’t leave me a great deal of time to work!! So please don’t leave it until the last minute as I hate having to let people down , so it’s always worth booking at your last appointment to avoid either having to wait or to find someone else 🥲 Thank you xx

Just thought I’d say that if you haven’t got your doggie booked in and you think they’ll need it in the next few weeks, please don’t leave it to the last minute as I won’t be able to fit in as many as I will be needed elsewhere due to family commitments.

Today I had a cocker spaniel that had recently been rehomed. He was so matted . It took
Nearly 3 hours to litterally sort him out. He was such a gorgeous boy and really nervous of the slightest sound. So sad but he’s got a lovely home and owners and now he’s knot free and much more comfortable.

Asap) I was warned her dog can be naughty. She was an absolute Angel, no issues whatsoever and when they picked her up they had bought me these gorgeous flowers. Some people are just so nice . Cheered me up 😍

In all the years I’ve groomed , I’ve never had a doggie come covered in baby oil. This was due to the internet saying it’s the way to remove fox poo! Even after I’d groomed him, my hands were squeaking from the oil!!

I'm so incredibly lucky with my Absolutely Furfect Dog Grooming clients. I meet people with their puppies and we see each other every 6/8 weeks for however many years. Recently I lost a very special client called Milo. Oh I adored that boy and I used to love chatting to his owner. When Milo passed, I was really upset, but also because I wouldn't see his owner anymore. So New Years eve when I got a text , I was so happy to see a fluffy little puppy shihtzu and the question, 'You still taking on anymore clients?". It made my day and I'm really looking forward to meeting him soon. So when I got another message from a previous client, asking the same thing " you taking on anymore?" Its always a tough one, because I hadn't seen Zoe since 2021 when she lost Bertie ( another gorgeous boy) and today I met her new cheeky chap Trevor . It was so lovely to catch up with her and it was like I only saw her last week. It's not always about the relationship with just the doggie. It's like Rose who travels up from Littlehampton to have Tilly and Toby groomed. She sits and we chat whilst I groom.Just love my job at times.

This little medical marvel is what the vet called her! has had 2 nasty eye ulcers. At the end of November , I was told the ulcer had popped in her eye and she my need her eye removed. That wasnt an option for me , she’s 16 nd I couldn’t do that to her,so I knew the other option wasn’t one I could even think about. 3 weeks on , numerous eyes drops and weekly trips to the vets and we no longer need the serum her eye is healing slowly, even the vet is amazed. She’s a fighter for sure. Even mum couldn’t believe the way she ran up the hallway to go to bed. She just melts me and as long as she’s still happy and not telling me otherwise, I’ll continue to try and do my best for her. ❤️

I have very limited space in my diary , and I’ve decided this year due to teaching my fitness classes , I don’t have the option of late evenings and I won’t be doing 7 days a week , so if you’ve been thinking , I must book in, then don’t hesitate as there isn’t much wiggle room x
