We have a missing elderly dog team, Small, black and brown mix breed, medium fur, with tail, can be temperamental, loves food. Male & wearing a green coat.

Lost between Hosey Hill & Edenbridge Road. Family have been hunting for the dog since this afternoon.

Pic to follow; advice being sent to owners. Please keep eyes & ears to the ground.

🌰 Conker Awareness 🌰

Did you know that conkers contain a toxin called aesculin, which can cause vomiting and tummy upsets if eaten? And they may also present a choking hazard 😧

Dogs will often eat fallen fruits and with conkers, this can cause gastrointestinal obstruction - which we want to avoid!

So keep an 👁 on them and give us a call if you’re concerned! 📞

🌾Happy 1st July… it’s grass seed season!

You will have noticed these arrowhead shaped tips of grass sprouting in all areas outside. They sure do love getting buried in our pets fur, piercing the skin, and getting trapped down ear canals.👂🏼

Head shaking, dropping their head to one side, or being sensitive to being stroked around the ears after a walk are all common signs that your pet may have picked up a foreign body in their ear canal.

Licking their paws, small lesions appearing on the paws, or small lumps forming on the paws are also signs of a possible foreign body in their paws. 🐾

The quicker you get any concerns checked out by your vet, the better.🌾
