Just a short 3 day week for us but these 3 days have certainly been interesting!

What’s happened to Buddy? He escaped his harness on Sandbay and went absolutely nowhere - in fact I’m not sure he realised, he has also shown his intellectual side with a bit of scrabble and then had a nap?!?!?!

Marley has returned - I love his happy running face and that he is first on my lap.

Scrappy has learnt to cook lasagne and has promised to try to out for his owner 😂👌

Badger is slowly settling in, having a good old play with the gang and even shutting those eyes for a while.

Ralphie has mainly been on his best behaviour and made a special bond with Mikey our boarder 😜

Big Nells has gotten filthy and may have beaten Skylar the mud and ball loving sweetheart this week.

Little Nells took the driving seat and Bella snuck in for some extra time at The Dog Family WSM

I am a massive fan of this boarding guest - Mikey 💙 and even more so now that he is allowed off the lead to run free and in Mikey style he searched out the smallest bed in the house!

At only nearly 2 he has truly come into his own and you can see his love for life when he is bounding along in a group.

Introducing Betsy ❤️ - Loves a ball, the beach & snuggles.

She has been so much fun and slotted into our family life perfectly - watching Dexter play rugby, going for a jog, out for coffee and chilling with Drake.

I’m sure you will agree she’s beautiful …….. even when sandy or muddy 🐕❤️ (Another dog promoted to the bath this week 🤩)

This week has been all about walks, rolling around and water.

We are also lucky to introduce 4 new characters to our daycare sessions.

Firstly Badger the Boarder Collie who loves a good burst of energy chasing the others.

Secondly the most beautiful Sprocker puppy Ottie who has been better behaved than some of the grown ups!

Then came Marley, I couldn’t bear to hose him down after being caught in that freezing hail storm that he got a lovely warm bath 🛁

Last of our newcomers is Zara and she is wonderful. Loved her rolling and rabbit poo hunting 🙄

Ralph had a very mischievous Monday …. I think he was just excited to be back! By Friday he was on his best behaviour and was treated to a visit to Sand Bay Fish & Chips and Cosy Café

Buddy was obsessed with everyone’s sticks and gave himself a fright when he fell in the pond - Oh Buddy!

Chase was on a mission to sample all the troughs at Sandpoint.

Bella arrived for her weekly smooch and play with Drake

And even Scrappy had a little stroll in the park.

And of course our regular walkers Skylar & Nelly, although I hardly saw Nelly as she was incredibly interested in hiding in the bushes!

Gorgeous gorgeous Chester returns for another settling in session 🐕❤️

He is such a warm kind soul who I adore. He has started to meet the same dogs on his stays and making familiar friends.

Absolutely loves being out and about and doesn’t mind a little mud (I hope in was mud) on his head 😂

My weekly walker Nells (or ‘Little Nells’ now she has been walking with ‘Big Nells’) has been to sleepover for a few day...

My weekly walker Nells (or ‘Little Nells’ now she has been walking with ‘Big Nells’) has been to sleepover for a few days again 🙌🐕

Nells is the overseer - always watching and normally from a lap! Her preferred lap being Dexters and they have had lots of silly fun together 🤩

I think she was also pleased to find the new comfy bed courtesy of Skylar (Thank You ❤️)

A chilled long weekend at The Dog Family WSM for Mulligan.

Mulligan is definitely a foodie and enjoyed his breakfast trip to Brunello Lounge and cookery hours in the kitchen.

You can hardly believe he is 13 when you see him running on the beach or in the woods, once again a star ⭐️

Introducing Samson & Simba to Facebook.

These two are so awesome I can’t even find the words to describe how super cool and fun they are!

They regularly visit and I love knowing they are coming - everyone needs a Samson & Simba fix ❤️ I’m so very fond of them!

Another crazy week, I love my job!

I grew up singing ‘Everyday, it's a gettin' closer
Goin' faster than a roller coaster’ …… and then Buddy, Holly come for daycare! 😂 …… please tell me you are fans!

Scrappy and Buds were back together and I’ve been untwisting those twisted treats!

Ralph has hidden in the garden bamboo and even joined me on a short jog 🏃‍♀️

Skylar has met her match in Nelly, they are now in competition for the filthiest Golden Retriever…….. what Skylar doesn’t realise is Nelly knows she has a WARM outside shower 😂

Buddy had been the biggest winker this week.

Nells had a good old woodland wander and lots of fuss stops.

Beautiful Holly had raced around with the crew on her first full daycare session and settled in perfectly ❤️

Then we had Wednesday carnage of Buddy & Chase being reunited - these two I love them!

And dear old Bella back stuffing everyone’s balls in her mouth, the little monkey!

Ready or not here I come Dudley! ………. The amount of times I’ve lost him this week only to find him hidden under any number of blankets!

Both Daisy and Dudley are now accustomed to shorter walks and lots of snuggles, although both have a very special playful side and Daisy can jump at least 6 times her height if she wants too!

As always it’s been a pleasure 🐕❤️

Everybody loves Lola and Lola loves everyone as long as she can sit on their lap! Although I do think she has a favourite as found her in someone’s bed on occasions 😂

She is so super chilled and it’s been great having her back, beautiful lady with a beautiful nature.

Lively fun loving Cocker Spaniel Willow has had a very busy stopover at The Dog Family WSM

Willow has been to the fields, had a swim, been to the woods, joined me on a jog, picked up the fish and chips and played endlessly with the children, no wonder I recieved a photo of her quietly sleeping within hours of her pick up!

So to kick off 2025 Ralph and Drake were so excited to see each other, Ralph didn’t even get chance to take his harness off before the play began.

King Scraps and Daisy have visited on seperate occasions and both were surprised to see their neighbours on their holidays!

Skylar, Nells and Bella joined us on the most high energy muddiest walk ever courtesy of kristy's pet services

Thank You to everyone who has supported me this week with rearranging care and allowing me to take it slowly ❤️

So although we had taken a break we didn’t!

It’s been lovely to maintain walks with our regulars and introduce a new boarding dog over New Year

Skylar & Nells enjoyed thier usual walks ….. and returning Skylar dirt free (most of the time 😂) has made may day!

Daisy had had some daycare fun and a little debate about a certain orange toy 😂🐕

Bay has had a cheeky stop over and helped introduce our new boarder Max to The Dog Family WSM ways. He may also have had a little party on NYE where he was reunited with his friend Ace ❤️

Max reminds me massively of my aunts dog Meg who I grew up with in my teenage years! He is beautiful, kind and very loyal 🐕

Wakey wakey Drake time to get back to work! We will be fully back to doggy business from Monday 6th January 🐕💪⭐️

We try our best to meet everyone’s requests but like you we also need a holiday so will be closed on the following dates in 2025.

30th January - 2nd February
18th - 19th February
31st March
4th Midday - 6th April
2nd Midday - 5th May
10th - 13th May
9th - 13th June
22nd July - 2nd August

If our dates do clash please still message as although an independent business I do regularly see some other awesome boarders and together we will try and help ❤️🐕

🎄🎄🎄🎄Sending massive happy Christmas vibes to all our dogs and thier humans. Thank you all so much for making The Dog Family WSM such a success in 2024.

Not all dogs are lucky enough to have such great care and love as ours. On behalf of all our boarders, daycare and walkers we have made a £100 Christmas donation to The Labrador Rescue Trust which is based in the Southwest rehoming and supporting rehomed Labradors. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

We will now be closed until Boxing Day for a little rest and time with friends and family ❤️

A crammed week of walking, daycare and meeting potential new clients (watch this space for some more beautiful faces!)

King Scraps has been back keeping Nonna company and having a little play with Buddy.

Ralph has been very restful between walks and play this week………. Even fell asleep in the sitting position - impressive.

We have had the pleasure of the two Nells, to avoid confusion luckily not at the same time 😂

Little Nells chased the big dogs around the fields and Nelly has experienced new walks at Crook Peak and Uphill.

Smiley smiley Skylar, happy as ever! This week she kindly stopped wiggling for a portrait photo.

I absolutely love this dog, just look at him!

Chester has returned for a second very successful settling in session. Such an important session for both Chester, his owners and myself allowing us to all work together to ensure Chesters future stay will be fantastic!

I learn so much in these sessions, who would have thought Chester would be a lap dog, and that I unknowingly took him to a very special place for his owners!
