Raven after her first visit to the salon with her mum. With the extra reassurance Raven was happy to trust me to bath and dry her and give her a haircut. It's always a pleasure to gain the trust of new dogs, especially when they arrive a little nervous and leave with a wagging tail 💛

UH OH, this Cockapoo was MATTED!😵 ...But look how pretty he looks!😯

Regular customer Brody came in severely knotty through no fualt of his owner. Due to me closing unexpectedly over Christmas he had to go twice as long between appointments. Luckily his mum brushed him as much as she could and managed to keep the matts away from his skin. So with a short blade and then a swish of my magic wand ✂️✂️ to add some shape back in, he left looking as plush as ever despite coming in for the dreaded CLIP OFF!

Happy faces all round on Saturday. Cole came down to the salon to meet big lad Logan the Rhodesian Ridgeback, who had never been to a salon before and appreciated the extra support. Despite his nerves (Logan's not Cole's 😆) he did brilliantly well. 👍🏼 Please never hesitate to give me a call if you have an XL breed, I don't discriminate, in fact I'm slightly biased 🤫 And so is Cole, you can find his dog walking page here Out&About 🐕

I'm heartbroken to say that my beautiful mum, Kerry Jane Clewer, passed away very unexpectedly last week.

Myself and my family are still in shock and I ask that you please give me space and time to be with them. I will be contacting customers with appointments this week on a day to day basis, so please wait to hear from me.

Kerry wasn't only my mum but my best friend too and my biggest supporter in the whole world. I know she would be the first one to tell me off for not taking time away from the business to look after myself right now. So as much as I want to come in and get all your dog's looking lovely for Christmas it is likely that I will be cancelling bookings for the rest of the year(week) so I can be where I am needed. Thank you to everyone whose appointments I have already cancelled for showing your love and support, I very much appreciate it.

Little mister Vinnie has stolen my heart!! 💘 He appeared at the salon window one day, peering in nose pressed to the glass, so I opened up the door and he hopped straight in. His mum was pleasantly surprised by his enthusiasm and booked him in for a bath & pamper. It's safe to say Vinnie was very pleased with my work, he loved the attention and had the best time charging around the salon once he'd been freshened up. Can't wait to see you again little dude!

🎂 H.O.T Dog Grooming is 3 years old 🎂
..(last Sunday🤫)!! I was busy celebrating my sister's birthday and forgot to post but it's too important not to make a fuss about! Where do I begin... dog grooming has been a part of my life for 8 years now but these past 3 have been particularly special. I am proud of my business and my work every single day. I am grateful to absolutely every single one of you wonderful people who bring your precious pets to me again and again. I am also hugely grateful for Steph Rhodes who has rented me a table in her salon for all this time. Without you I wouldn't have had so much fun and I certainly wouldn't have grown the balls needed to thrive in this industry! 🤫😆 This job is the BEST and no amount of woofing, picking up poos or having dog hair stuck in my eyes will ever change that 😂 An extra special thank you to my super regulars who turn up to all of their appointments without fail, I love your dogs endlessly. Cheers! 🥂

It's Chester's 14th birthday today!! It was his very first (very special) visit today. His whole family came to collect him and they couldn't have been happier to see him looking so stunning on his big day. Chester it was a pleasure to meet you 💛🎂

Out&About Dog Walking, thank you for sending these two muddy puppies my way! Heidi & Alfie spend a lot of time adventuring with Cole but today was spa day instead. I LOVED grooming Alfie's sweet schnoodle face and it was such a pleasure to have my first Bernese in the salon too 🧡💙🧡

He is enthusiastic beyond measure & when he's here it's always a pleasure to fall hopelessly behind schedule from having too much fun together, charging around the salon like idiots 🐶

They visit every month for a bath, blow dry & facial treatment to keep those wrinkles in check ✅ To confirm, Derek is the one who can literally taste treats in the air... & Rodney is the Frenchie 😆

Montey ROCKING the short shaved tail 😎 It's not often you get to see a Cockapoo sporting a shaved tail but Montey is here to prove that they look just as good (and in my opinion even better) than a long flagged tail! Less maintenance work for you the owner & no more 4 legged sweeping brush bringing all the dirt back into your home🙈 So my advice... brave the shave! ❤
