Everyone knows that dogs are man's best friend, and we as owners want to do the best we can for our BFFs. We give them the exercise they need in all weathers, no matter how much we don't want to go. But did you know that letting your dog go for a group walk is better for your dog than walking them by yourself? It is the same as you going out with your mates and doing things you all enjoy.
Here are just six benefits your Canine companion gets from a walk with other dogs in a group:
1. Mental workout - going to a new place and smelling new things is a fantastic brain workout
2. Explore new things - with experience comes wisdom...maybe
3. Socialise - This is a critical part of dog development. It is when they learn how to behave around other dogs.
4. Builds Confidence - The big wide world can be a lot for some dogs. Doing something scary with your friends is a little less daunting.
5. Exercise boost - they run around, play, and explore with other dogs more than they do with you.
6. Learn behaviour - Just like humans learn from each other, dogs learn from other dogs.
We have spaces available on our group walks. Drop me a message and arrange a free getting-to-know-you meet and greet.
