❗️A little warning that the painting prep work has started on the house, meaning you may need to dodge ladders, tools, paint pots, etc when you enter the cattery premises... please keep an eye on the signs.
We're super excited to get some of our 2025 long-awaited jobs done!
I'll leave you with a short reminder of the rebuilding works that took place 9 years ago, making Purrfect Cattery how it is today! 9 years!!! 😲😻

🐾 We've been nurturing our way through lots of new boarders this week, helping them to settle into their new environment. It can take alot of time & patience, but well worth it. Our aim is to send home a happy, comfortable & healthy cat, who is reluctant to leave our cat hotel!

🥰 Friendly reminders.....

We are very busy with new customers this year, and want to remind you that we don't mind showing you around the cattery before you confirm your booking.
We will need to plan this around our very busy shifts, so please phone ahead...on 01305 776200.

❗️(Please note.. we don't have a public WC here, so please bear that in mind when you have to travel some distance to come to us).

We have requested that customers pay their bill by CASH or BANK TRANSFER if possible, please.

You may be asked to wait for other customers to leave, please could you remember not to park infront of our neighbours' driveways (there is plenty of free parking within a short walk away) & feel free to use our summerhouse seating to wait in.

We are very grateful for your support, understanding & patience during this time.

🌞 Another sunny morning, thank goodness!
The next couple of phases in our improvements will commence soon....

🌷 Spring:

🎨 🏠 A fresh, updated splash of paint on the house/gate/garage/window frames - to improve the look & impress our customers & viewers

🪸🐟🌾🦎 Replenish & restock our pond - something for our cat guests to admire (& drool over)

☀️ Summer:

🏖 Scrub up the garden - giving some luxury enjoyment for us during our downtime.

🐱 Animal First Aid refresher course for us & our staff

⭐️ We are always trying hard to do more to impress you, your cats & our inspectors.
There will be more, but your cats will get our undivided attention & care. This takes many enjoyable hours! 😻

In these times of high demand, we are struggling to keep up with the numbers of emails/messages/texts/WhatsApps we're getting, as we receive a dozen or more each day. 🙀
Sorry if you don't get a quick response, but sending detailed & personal written messages back to everyone is very time-consuming & is impacting on the time we get with the cats & our family.

Here is your holiday CHECKLIST to remind you of what you need to pack for your puss-cats holiday at Purrfect.....
✅️=Essential
☑️=Optional

✅️ A safe, strong cat carrier (1 per cat) This must be suitable for transferring cats in an emergency
✅️ Vaccination card/record. A paper copy must be supplied
✅️ FOOD - enough for their whole stay, plus a couple of days spare (any left will be returned at collection)
✅️ Medication- clearly labelled with cat's name & usage. A consent form will be completed at the cattery
✅️ Payment - We prefer CASH or BANK TRANSFER if possible, please
✅️ Contact numbers for anyone we can call in case of concern

☑️ Home comforts - including beds, blankets, toys, hairbrushes.

This week at Purrfect we have said farewell to one of our long-term team member's, Amber, as she has made the decision to pursue a new career.
She started helping us at the cattery at the age of 14, making it part of her love for animals & her decision to complete 3 years at animal college. We have had the privilege of 6 years of Amber's hard work, commitment & loyalty to our team.
Her other talent is playing & teaching football, so, watch this space...🤾‍♀️⚽️
Hopefully you will join us in wishing Amber the best of luck in her future ambitions. We will miss her!

Along with his pal, they have made us a new waiting/check-in area to make things a little easier for us and our customers to complete the necessary boarding paperwork. 🌟 Purrfect's Reception is now OPEN. 🌟 This does not affect your visit into the Cattery to settle your cats in or to collect them. Another addition to our award winning service! 😻

🌟 It's so lovely when we receive good feedback from the owners of our 'newer' guests. For a cat, being left in new surroundings, around other cats, different voices & sounds can be quite scary! But at our cattery we go above & beyond to keep all of our guests calm, happy, reassured & entertained. Our time with them is crucial to their 'away from home' experience. ❤️ As we say, a happy environment makes for a happy cat. Even the mature, quieter fluffs have some fun during their holiday! 😸🐾 Busy days!!
