If you are out walking and come across some horses in a field please….
🚫DO NOT feed the horses anything
🐴 Any type of food, grass cuttings or any other plants can make horses extremely ill or even kill them! They may even be on a special diet, have allergies or medical conditions.
🐴 Fighting between horses could break out and cause an injury
🐴 Horses may mistake your fingers for food and accidentally nip
🐴 It's not 'just 1 apple' if the next 20 people passing also do the same
🚫 DO NOT enter the field to pet / sit on the horse(s)
🐴 you are putting yourself at danger of injury or death. Horses can bite and kick. A horse kick in the wrong place could be fatal or life changing
🐴 you will most probably be trespassing on private property
✅ DO enjoy their beauty / take your Instagram photos from the correct side of the fence
✅ DO report any concerns for the horses to the farm owners
✅ And finally please KEEP DOGS ON LEADS and under control around horses at all times
