A guinea pig has been found in a field in the Weymouth area. The guinea pig is now being cared for by one of the foster team. The guinea pig is a good weight so the thinking is, they may have only recently gone missing.

The rescue shall continue to care for him and give opportunity for an owner to come forward. Please give a full description of the guinea pig to our contact number or fb inbox.

If the guinea pig is not claimed, the rescue will find an appropriate forever home.

We are a professional teaching couple, both animal lovers and vegetarians, who offer holiday accommodation for small pets in the grounds of our home. We are located on a quiet street in the old sector of Chickerell Village. We are happy to accommodate rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils. We provide hutches and runs for guinea pigs and rabbits, enabling your pet to have plenty of exercise whilst away from home! We have a dedicated “nook” housing our hutches – please visit our gallery for more details. Hamster and gerbil owners can bring along their own cages so that their pet feels cosy and comfortable! These small pets will be cared for inside our home. Whilst your pet is in our care, we can provide a daily balanced diet of dried food as well as fresh vegetables for them to enjoy!
