Lead On Dog Shop is an independent family business that features Raw Dog Food, Natural Grain Free dog food, (tried & tested) interactive durable dog toys and on-trend accessories. In an ever changing industry with the increase in Dog Ownership and ensuring our dogs have the happiest and healthiest life ever. We started selling Eden Dog Food previously to moving to Weymouth and continue to support

the brand, alongside our own Brand of Grain Free Dog Food, Tingley, however I am continually learning and studying about Diet and Nutrition and believe that if you can you can Raw Dog Food is definately the way to ensure your dogs optimal health. We stock over 12 brands of Raw Dog Food all DEFRA registered. We deliver locally as well as to UK Mainland via our preferred couriers DHL and Hermes. My belief is that if your dog is feeling good and therefore happy they are more easily trained and easier to live with. We also do a number of Puppy Classes and Life Skills classes where time allows, after studying with various different well known UK Trainers.

Unfortunately DPD have let us down with our delivery of Millies Wolfheart!!!! Apparently we were not there to accept the delivery. Not sure where we could of been. The driver probably wanted an early finish. If you are desperate this weekend we can offer you our Tingley Superfood in 2kg bags. With similar meat content, and very similar ingredients this should be suitable and not upset your dogs tummies. Very disappointed that it hasnt arrived.

This is where Harry and Spud go. Spud goes as he has a limp on his front leg, from me throwing balls probably. And Harry goes for Maintenance as he is 9 years old now and I would hate for him to have problems with his back and hind legs moving forward. They both love it as well. Highly recommend

Benny comes to see us currently weekly to build up muscle strength in his hindlimbs and to assist with his weight loss programme, alongside dietary advice from his vets. It's tricky to be able to exercise the weight off on land because of the musculoskeletal issues so this way we can support the body whilst exercising and burning calories without further impact and concussion on the joints 🔥

So we are full up of DAF now, including Chicken Wings. We are having a small delivery from Nutriment this afternoon which will include some Totally Natural, then on Monday we are getting a pallet of Totally Natural. Apart from that we are full to the brim of your dogs favourite food this weekend and we have over 100 different dried natural treats aswell. We are OPEN today til 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm.

Traditional herding event 2nd and 3rd November 2024. Details to follow. EDIT to remind people - shepherding breeds [TS not CS type].

The first day of this event in particular will concentrate on disseminating practical and ethological information. This is an opportunity to gain education for anyone who has been advised that they ought or need to know more about the shepherding breeds. The knowledge and understanding will be shared by an experienced shepherd who has worked with GSDs and livestock consistently since 1987. Methodology is closest in style to constructivist learning theory, but in any case would be described as reinforcement/reward based and no aversive methods are tolerated. Participants are participant-observers, everyone will be invited to join in to experience some fundamental technique. Dogs, where necessary for educational purposes are generously lent by the host.

Applicable to any GSD or other shepherding type dog breed. If it were as simple as directing shepherd dogs into collecting style (collie orientated) activity in order to meet their needs, then, the shepherding dogs who are very much over represented in behaviour case loads and in second-hand or 'rescue' environments, might not be so. Or at least numbers reduced. Our national knowledge of herding with shepherd dogs is limited, the aim of this day is to find a start point with which to change that. This day might additionally be of interest to anyone dealing with those 'rescue' situations.

There will be a limited number places available. Experienced shepherds will be on hand to support learning and understanding of ethos on the day. enquiries [email protected].
