Lead On Dog Shop We currently have a great range of Dog Coat in aswell at the moment. We have now been based in Weymouth, Dorset for 5 years and how the time has flown!

Lead On Dog Shop is an independent family business that features Raw Dog Food, Natural Grain Free dog food, (tried & tested) interactive durable dog toys and on-trend accessories. In an ever changing industry with the increase in Dog Ownership and ensuring our dogs have the happiest and healthiest life ever. We started selling Eden Dog Food previously to moving to Weymouth and continue to support

the brand, alongside our own Brand of Grain Free Dog Food, Tingley, however I am continually learning and studying about Diet and Nutrition and believe that if you can you can Raw Dog Food is definately the way to ensure your dogs optimal health. We stock over 12 brands of Raw Dog Food all DEFRA registered. We deliver locally as well as to UK Mainland via our preferred couriers DHL and Hermes. My belief is that if your dog is feeling good and therefore happy they are more easily trained and easier to live with. We also do a number of Puppy Classes and Life Skills classes where time allows, after studying with various different well known UK Trainers.

🚨 Important Information on Dog Vaccinations 🚨

Lately, I’ve seen lots of posts about people getting their dogs’ booster vaccinations done and even vets phoning customers to book them in. 🩺🐾

Before you head out, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the WSAVA Guidelines for vaccinating our dogs. These globally recognized recommendations ensure your pets get the protection they need without unnecessary over-vaccination.

Vaccination Schedule:
🐶 Puppies:
Start core vaccinations at 6–8 weeks of age.
Repeat every 2–4 weeks until at least 16 weeks of age.
A booster is given 12 months after the final puppy vaccination.

🐕 Adult Dogs:
Core vaccines are typically administered every 3 years, based on the specific vaccine and immunity testing.
Non-core vaccines (e.g., leptospirosis and kennel cough) may require annual boosters, depending on exposure risks.

Why WSAVA Guidelines Matter:

We now have stock of Karnlea Fish and Chicken Bone Broth. This is a great staple to keep in your cupboard. Can be given regularly to your dog or as a meal if your dog has become sick and needed rehydrating. It just has lots of health benefits. Can be opened and stored in the fridge for 3 days or put in ice cube trays and frozen. Highly recommend.

This year we have put together a great raffle to raise funds for #weldmarhospice 3 great hampers with lots of treats for your dogs. Its £2 for a strip of raffle tickets, cash straight into the #weldmarhospicecare collection pot. If you dont have cash you can buy your raffle tickets using card but it will be £2,50, with the extra 50p towards our card transaction fee. The winner will be announced at our Christmas Party on Saturday 21st December.

It was so nice getting all your dogs stars out from the last few years remembering your beloved dogs. It’s £1 cash in the Weldmar collection pot to get a star and add it to our memory tree where we can all remember your dog for years to come.
