I run Paws and Whiskers from my home in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire. It is a warm, clean, fun, family environment where your dog will be treated like one of our own with love, fun and regular exercise. Paws and Whiskers (PAWS) holds a full insurance to cover all aspects of pet services. The advantage of boarding through PAWS is that your dog will get lots of love and attention so as to make thei

r stay as relaxed as possible, allowing you to enjoy your time away. I have two children, Molly (11) and Andrew (10) as well as a 4 year old rescue Jack Russel called Marley. There are also the two ponies, Boycee and Micky. I have always loved animals, had animals, and worked with animals. Growing up we had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish! Once i left school I went on to take my HND in Horse Studies and Business Management. Once qualified, I pursued a career within the horse industry until I had my children. As Molly and Andrew got older I decided that I wanted to go back to working with animals. This led me to start working for a friend who had their own Pet Services company. When they moved away I took the brave step of starting up on my own and have never looked back. My 4 legged guests get to take full advantage of the beautiful walks that go on for miles, just behind my house. When they are not exploring the countryside, they can explore my big dog proof garden or do a spot of sunbathing. When the nights start drawing in, they can curl up in front of the dog proof open fire. New guests are also welcome to come and have a sniff and see where they will be staying. Owners welcome to come and look too! This way your pet gets to meet me and vice versa before any stay is booked

When we got Blu, like Ralph, he hated water and would jump like a cat on a hot tin roof if he got his feet wet!

Was so lovely and peaceful and the birds were confining loud and proud. Photo at end of most of the birds heard. Bring on more mornings like this 🥰🐾
