A muddy walk over the other side of the woods today so the pooches loved the different smells. Hugo got Luna playing again. Pedro got scruffy. Arla completed her weeks walks with zero poo contact😱😜!! Billy bounced about full of himself.

Wet Wednesday for Mark and the pooches today. Maggie was all over Pedro like a cheap suit....Pedro wasn't having it. Rocco instigated a few chases. Arla mooched about in the trees ( probably hunting for dead things or poo to roll in 😂😂🙈)
Sizzles followed Billy everywhere and Billy did his best to avoid her attempts at play. Everyone was manky....humpday done!

Busy and very muddy morning today! Bella did woo-woo-wooing on her sprint past everyone. Izzy chased Harvey, Harvey out ran her again! Arla did lots of sniffing and gave herself away before stinky p**p rolling so she was grabbed and moved before she took a neck dive onto it (phew!)
Billy didn't let on about 2 deer standing metres from us and walked on when told so he's my superstar carnage diverter of the day 😘. Everyone had a plodge to clean up, then got manky again and I was lucky to stay upright as it was super slippy and I had to do a couple of sneaky checks to make sure noone has seen the shape shifting moves busted out to save me being butt down in the mud 😬🙈😂

A cold walk through the woods to start the week.
Harvey ran round in circles and splashed through every ditch and puddle he found, Billy did the same and they chased a few squirrels. Pedro did a lot of running and earned himself his first bath if the week. Luna took herself off on a couple of solo adventures 🙈( stayed on our route and ran ahead to cut us off...thank dog for the tracker) so was put on the leash of sanity and did the walk of shame back to the van( she didn't give 2 hoots 😂🙈)

Small group walk to end the week ....just as well saying as Mark slept in😱(how rude, when I was up at 6!!) Anyhoo, they made it to the woods and had a romp through the mud (the dogs not Mark), Hugo encouraged Luna to play, with his crazy spinning, and Billy was full of himself prancing about being bossy. It's been a canny little half week, easing back into it. Have a good weekend guys

Another morning in the woods for the pooches. Hugo went crackers, spinning like tasmanian devil and running like a lunatic round trees! Arla gave chase, Pedro joined in. Billy was off chasing a squirrel, Pedro resisted the FOMO and stayed put ( either that or he realised how shattered he was yesterday and couldn't be bothered 😂). Arla legged it into the woods, couldn't see her but tracker showed she wasn't far, arrived back with a collar full of 💩 which I didn't notice until I put my hand straight in it when it was leash time🙈🙈. Everyone was manky, Billy worse than yesterday 🙈🙄, Hugo scruffy, Arla stinking and Pedro got strapped in and wrapped up for home as he was dripping!! 😂😂😂😜Thursday done!!

A misty start for the pooches this morning for the first walk of 2024.
Rocco wanted to play with Pedro, Pedro held off for a bit then had a couple of zoomies with him. Luna was delighted to be back in the woods and have company other than her mam ( her m**s words not mine lol). Billy was full of himself and kept winding Pedro up by barking and chasing squirrels...Pedro was knackered cos he suffers from FOMO so kept racing after Billy when he was chasing squirrels. Billy had a shower yesterday and looked beautiful....today he strutted through manky ditches parting it like the red sea to unveil a not so clean look ( little 💩 head 🙄😂)

Bit of a breezy morning in the woods today but at least it was dry. Sizzles was full of beans and tried to get everyone to play either her....only failed on Billy! Luna was super hungry and the most obedient she's ever been as she was after treats! Arla and Sizzles (dirty girls) tried rolling in dried bird poo....thankfully it was well dried so no poo filled ears and collars. Rocco, Sizzles and Arla had a couple games of chase.
Billy was on a squirrel mission.
Extra walkies for the last one of 2023 (and absolutely nothing to do with taking the wrong path 😏😂)

Mark had the crazies down the derwent this morning for the first walk of the week. Lots of running and chasing and a bit plodging.
I took the lil legs, Arla and Billy to the woods. Pedro and Alfie did lots of answering each others p*e-mails and a fair few zoomies with each other. Billy was on a mission...nose up sniffing and bolting about after deer and squirrel....Arla was totally there for that so joined in. Praise be....she came back from a chase ( well after Billy) clean and not stinking of poo!! (I was convinced her late arrival was poo rolling related🙈😂)
Thank you for the gifts....I'm being good and not opening anything until Xmas, apart from the biscuits...they're defo getting it cos I can see them 😂😂, hear them shouting my name 😂🙈🍪☕️

The beautiful chopwell woods for the pooches this morning to finish the week. Walked the other side to usual and the furries loved the different whiffs and p*e-mails to check and Hugo brought out Luna's inner pup for a bit play while Billy was tag teamed by Sizzles ( she loves him 😂)

An afternoon down the derwent for this lil lot.
Arla and Pedro were intrigued by the cows being moved by the farmers on the otherside of the fence....both leashed as Pedro froze and Arla looked shifty so not sure if was going to leg it or dole out some unasked for help 😂🤔. Once past a game of chase for Hugo and Arla. Pedro replied to like a million p*e-mails and Billy bounced about like a hair ball!

Bit of a bleak day but at least it wasn't raining.
The non-working working breeds did Chopwell and they were nuts. Bella ran in circles round the trees. Izzy tried to herd Harvey but he out ran her, leaving them both shattered. Deer and squirrel got a chasing and Billy joined in the madness and added a few howls! The girls both rolled in 💩 and arrived home humming....straight in the shower for Charlie's (stinky) Angels.
This afternoon the derwent was boggier than I've ever seen it! Arla went nuts, racing through the huge puddles, Pedro and Alfie joined in with a game of chase resulting in Pedro being bath worthy. Pedro had his grinch on and wasn't happy with a staffy pup sniffing his butt and told him in no uncertain terms that he wasn't feeling the Xmas spirit today 🙈😂. Arla rolled in "something" but not sure what....suspicious marks on back but not honking 🤔...suspect a bath for her too!

Half day Monday done and dusted!
Fi and Bram were out for the morning and Fi was DELIGHTED to see her aunty Kel!!! Whimpering and love nibbles all walk bless her. Mind she still managed to have a competition with Billy on who could get the mankiest....suspect she won 🙈.
Bram was loving all the sniffs and answered a miiilllion p*e-mails. Luna was on her best behaviour and didn't go off on any solo adventures. Billy did more howling than the average werewolf film so I'm assuming he was happy today 🤷🏼‍♀️

Everyone got wet and dirty in the huge muddy puddle apart from Maggie who did her best to stay clean. Wrestling, chases and lots of sniffs. Lovely end to the week.

Bit of a drizzly walk in the woods this afternoon....a bit misty, creepy and empty and we loved it!! Arla and Hugo did some wrestling, Pedro was straight in....Billy barked more than Lassie when someone's fallen down a well. Everyone had a good run about, checked and sent lots of p*e-mails. Arla spotted a deer but was out ran in seconds. Hugo kept checking the fox kill feather scatterings incase there was any pigeon left....there wasn't. Pedro followed Billy into the mankiesr puddle there was. Lush little walk, hope everyone's snuggled up warm now.

Nice extra long walk this morning courtesy of Luna and her solo adventure after a deer scent ( no deer to be seen). Arla spotted one and gave chase, followed by Harvey. Sizzles, Rocco and Billy looked bemused as had no idea why they'd legged it and I was shouting. Siz and Arla did some kung fu style play fighting. Rocco got spooked by some school kids running through the trees and legged it 🙈...he stopped once the lads realised he was scared and stopped running, once on leash he had a make up stroke from the lads who were very concerned. Harvey carried 2 sticks for half the walk, Billy barked and barged about for most the walk. Luna was leashed for part of the walk after her second solo escapade! No poo rolled in, mainly clean dogs as woods mainly frozen and my hair not grey yet....so I'm taking that as a hump day win!! Phew 😜

A muddy couple of walks down and round about the manor. Harvey, Bella and Izzy chased after 3 deer but were miles off! Billy missed the whole thing 😂😂
This afternoon the lil legs and Arla had a good mooch about but didn't see any deer. Alfie and Pedro did their usual p*eing on each others p*e routine.
Noone from either walk poo rolled!!! Everyone was manky but at least they weren't stinky too.

Winter wonderland territory today! The pooches were full of themselves.....the ginger nutters were ginger nutters. Luna and Hugo played boxing. Maggie stuck to the path and looked shattered by the end of the walk. The boys managed to clean their manky puddle plodging legs in the snow and everyone arrived home clean. Perfect Friday morning.....well apart from the van flashing warnings so off to the garage we go 🙈

A wintery walk this morning and it was beautiful. The pooches were hyper....there was playing, sniffing,plodging🥶, lots of p*e-mails to send and rolling.....tons of rolling!! Thankfully no 💩 was involved in the rollings and I'm taking that as a win!!

A morning down the derwent exploring the Manor. Chases, plodging and millions of sniffs and p*e-mails to check and send. It looked beautiful frosty but mud still wasn't frozen!!! Arla got spooked by a fisherman in full gear 🎣 but recovered well and just got over it....you go girl!! Humpday done!

Well Hedley Hall woods wasn't frozen!! It was a swamp!! I slid about while the pooches flushed out deer. Arlas trial with the morning lot went OK....and she was out rolled by Bella and Izzy ( so definitely doggy showers for Charlie's (stinky)Angels🙈💩)
Harvey managed to stay clean after his swim....Billy did not, he was minging.
The afternoon was a sweet little walk with just the lil legs aka Alfie and Pedro as Arla had swapped to this morning and Billy was left in to rest (mainly to rest my ears cos he was a serial barker this morning). They p*ed...A LOT... they p*ed on each others p*e numerous times and they p*ed on every bush, tree and post in sight. Consider the woods well marked now!! They plodged and had a couple of games of zoomies and they bullied me for treats😂😂. Tuesday done!

A mad morning in the woods for the start of the week.
Harvey was bouncing!!! He was in and out of every bush, undergrowth and water filled ditch he could find! Billy joined him in the muddy puddles. They chased a few squirrels and got a few strokes from lone walkers. Luna ran like a lunatic and burned out half way round🙈, she enjoyed a sneaky treat or 2 while the lads were chasing about though to recharge her battery. On the way back Harvey joined a huge labrador pack for a crazy chase round the picnic area, he recalled well ( good lad) and was p**ped after it! Mission accomplished, Monday done!

Trip down the derwent this morning for a good old stomp about! Lots of sniffs, chases and plodging and p*e-mails.
This afternoon was Fi and Brams last walk 🥲 before they go off to Pawsome Walks in preparation for us dropping to mornings only in 2024! Off we went to Chopwell cos they love it there and it's full of good sniffs! Buster and his mam joined us and we had a brisk walk ( no other choice cos they were on the move!!!). They all got manky so we popped down the river to clean up. That was a failed mission as they were all manky again within seconds after the girls slid down the embankment wrestling and collected leaves and twigs like velcro and Buster charged through the ditch water. Oh well...if dirty dogs are happy dogs those 3 were delighted!!! Have a fab weekend guys, apparently we might get some white stuff too!!!

Fun in the woods for the pooches today. We managed to miss the rain but wooo it was windy!
Billy and Harvey were a pair of crazy crackers. Hugo played with Luna. Rocco told everyone off for running past him 😂😂
This afternoon Pedro told me ( loudly) when he thought it was treat time ( heard the bag rattle😂). Arla chased squirrels. Fi and Bram did some wrestling, instigated by Fi who was full of more beans than usual today! Everyone's ears were switched on today which was fab, not that they were called upon much as we pretty much had the place to ourselves....bliss!
