‼️ heatwave ‼️

I know lots of shed / garage groomers are closing this weeek due to higher temperatures. I’m doing lots to help keep my garage cool at the moment and I will be staying open. This being said if you have a young pup, older dog or a brachycephalic breed (flat faced) please inform me if you are concerned. If the Temperature in my garage does get too high and I feel your dog or myself cannot cope I will send dogs home and rearrange your appointment.

Don’t forgot to keep your doggies indoors this week and keep walks to a minimum. Even if there’s a breeze, the pavements are still hot and with the UV rays being so high it doesn’t take much before dogs begin to suffer. Stay safe and stay cool everyone, have a great week! 💛🐶

Huge thank you to everyone that’s sent me a message over the past month. I’ve been utterly blown away by the amount of lovely recommendations I’ve received.

With the sudden increase of new customers I don’t have the capacity to cope with lots of last minute appointments anymore. I’ve always asked for 4 weeks notice for any appointments but this isn’t quite enough. so I ask those who can plan ahead to book at least 6 weeks in advance. (If you call and I don’t answer please give me a physical message, rather a text or voicemail to reply too)
I still have 1 emergency clip off appointment each week for any severely matted dogs that just simply can’t wait.

If you’ve been waiting for a reply I’ll be sat down with my diary for a few hours over the next few days to start chipping away at the mountain of messages I have.

Big thanks and so so so much love to you all! I just want you all to know how much it means to me that you support a little business like mine. ✌🏼🐶

So lovely to see this happy boy again today. Ted really doesn’t like the grooming salon, so today was full of treats, play time and cuddles. Grooming may take a little longer but we always get there in the end.

That’s a lot of hair from a little dog 🤯😂

Poppet is back looking like a lil pup again after this mornings hand strip 😍💛

Hand stripping a wired coat has so many benefits. It’s helps keep a healthy wire which keeps dogs warm and dry In the winter time. Stripping helps to prevent allergies, skin conditions and keeps a healthy oil production which can prevent sun burn and overheating in the summer months.

🌟 FREDDIE 🌟

When we first met Freddie was petrified of being groomed. No matter what I tried I couldn’t get him to stay on the grooming table for longer than 5 minutes at a time and quite often we wouldn’t get his legs cut very neatly.

After getting to know Fred I realised that he was just a very gentle soul that needed an extremely gentle touch and lots of patience.

After months of little wins we’re finally getting neater and freddie is so so comfortable with me. We can get his legs trimmed and even though he’s still apprehensive about me touching his feet I feel like we’ve cracked it.

Super happy groomer today 💛🐶💛

He’s a sweetie 😍 Dexter came to see me this morning for his usual tidy up. He’s always on one! Jumping, climbing and wanting to play which makes grooming a challenge at times, but he’s really trying to keep his bum wiggling to a minimum 💛🐶💛

🌟 OZZY 🌟

Today I had this lovely fella in the salon for his usual tidy up.

When I met Oz he was really scared of everything in the salon. From the minute he walked in he would shake with anxiety. Today is first time Ozzy got onto the table without being asked and sat there, by himself, without a worry. He even stayed still for long enough for me to get a photo.

I’m so so proud of him and I think he was rather proud of himself 💛🐶💛

Yesterday I had the lovely mummy and daughter duo, Lola and Juniper back in for a pamper.

They love getting tons of attention so cuddles in the garden is a necessity with these two. They have the most beautiful nature 💛

Hi everyone, it's been so lovely speaking with all of you and getting to know your lovely doggies. I'm so grateful to you all and the amount of positive feed back I've been getting has put me on cloud 9.

With amount of new clients that I've had in recent weeks I'm afraid fitting in last minute bookings in is getting increasingly difficult.

For those who can please give me as much notice as possibly (preferably around 4 weeks) alternately if you would like to, you can book your next appointment when picking your Woofer up.
I am still trying my hardest to be as flexible as I possibly can for those who don't always know in advance when they are going to be free for an appointment.

I would also like to apologise for the time it sometimes takes to reply to messages. When I have a dog in the salon I like them to be my sole focus, do try my best to reply to messages before I start work and afterwards but I do have a second job, which means I often dont have the time to get back to everyone immediately, please bare with me. Being a 1 woman band can be a lot of juggling at times, but I am trying my hardest to keep a smile on both you and your Woofers faces.

Today we went for something a little different from his usual teddy trim. His owners asked for a pom on each leg, shaved feet and face with a short body so it's not too hard for them to hunt down Ticks.
