The act of ‘Doing nothing’ 🐾
Do you know how important the act of ‘doing nothing’ is with dogs? Especially young dogs and puppies! For me, it is one of the most important stages in training a young dog.
Everyone hears dog training and generally assumes it’s all fast paced, hard work. When I’m actual fact, ‘doing nothing’ is something every dog should learn. It’s an essential part of socialisation, and also helps reduce the risk of a particularly stressy or anxious dog.

Absolutely beautiful litter of Chihuahua x Jack Russell puppies available 1 girl 3 boys Mum (Jack Russell x Chihuahua) can be seen with the pups, picture of dad (KC registered Chihuahua). I also own 2 of her previous puppies, pictures I have included. Very small, sweet little dogs. Superb temperam

‼️PLEASE NOTE‼️

The weather is getting warmer, which means the risk of heat stroke is increasing for our dogs.
Please be aware any training sessions may be cancelled due to the heat. Walks may be changed to a home visit. I am not willing to put a dog at risk for training or a walk.
Any sessions cancelled will be rescheduled as soon as possible, either early morning or evening, but again this rescheduled session will depend entirely on the heat.
At Pearl PAWS Whitby, your dogs safety comes before anything else. I would rather reschedule a few sessions than risk a dog becoming extremely poorly.
I do apologise in advance for any sessions I have to reschedule.
Please also remember to check the outdoor floor temperature before walking your dogs, hot pavements burn paws.

Assessment visits are free of charge, and are put in place so I can meet you and your dog, to find what works best for your dog before starting any training. An assessment visit is also a great way for you to meet me and see how I work with your dog, to make sure you’re also comfortable before we get started.
