🐾🐾 Price Increase 🐾🐾

My overheads are increasing, together with product prices too. As from January 17th, full grooms will be increased by £5.

We're delighted to announce that the bill to increase maximum sentences for animal cruelty from six months to five years has finally passed through parliament! 🎉 Blue Cross has campaigned for this law, with other animal welfare charities, for many years and we are delighted that progress has happened. This law will now send a message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.

The good news I have been waiting for.
Pampered Paws are able to fully open not just for Welfare grooms from March 29th.
I will try to get everyone booked in as soon as possible.
If you didn’t have an appointment booked during the lockdown please contact me if you need your dog groomed.

I hope you’re all keeping well. After yesterday’s announcement I will still be operating a limited service until I’m able to reopen fully.
I am beginning to see a few of you who were due way back in January and I am prioritising those dogs whose coats are high maintenance, whose comfort and health will be compromised if they wait much longer.
Please bear with me. Take care all and keep safe. 🐾🐾

COVID - 19 Customer Announcement

New, updated legislation has now been released by the CFSG & DEFRA.- The wording has been strengthened making it less open to interpretation and states that groomers are NOT able to offer maintenance grooms.

“Groomers may accept a dog to be groomed by appointment where this is necessary for the animal’s welfare and not simply for aesthetic reasons.
Welfare reasons could include on veterinary advice for a skin condition or excessive matting causing the pet discomfort. When routine grooming can be delayed without affecting the pet’s welfare until the national lockdown is eased it should be put off.”

It will just mean more maintenance for you at home, if you are struggling please feel free to call or message me for advice.

I obviously know your dog’s and their coats and most of you will be able to miss an appointment without any major concern as long as you give home grooming a little more attention. Worst case scenario you may have to have the coat shaved shorter when we are eventually allowed to see each other again.

I apologise for any inconvenience and can’t wait to see you all again soon.

COVID-19

Following the Government announcement today (4th January) l have made the difficult decision to close until Monday 15th February in order to protect the health of my customers, myself and to protect the NHS. I feel this is the right thing to do.

I will be contacting everybody who has an existing appointment towards the end of the lockdown period to rebook your appointment.

Tier 4 Update 🐾

I am able to stay open as Grooming is considered essential for dog welfare reasons. This is great news!

I appreciate and totally understand if you want to reschedule your planned appointment. Likewise, I would appreciate if you are showing symptoms, are self isolating or someone in your household has tested positive, please contact me to reschedule your appointment.
