As a local - born & bred - pet companion dog trainer from a family of dog trainers running classes and offering 1-2-1s from a dedicated outdoor training area at Hadley Park, Whitchurch & indoors at Whitchurch Civic Centre Sports Hall. As an experienced, qualified & insured trainer I’m passionate about helping owners, dog guardians & dogs become the ‘dream team’ they choose to be, building confiden

ce & a great bond together through enjoyable reward based training. You’ll find support, smiles & an approachable attitude to training. I’m an enthusiastic trainer who also loves to help you understand your dog’s emotions, choices & behaviour. Many dream team’s have been training with me for years & it’s a fabulous way to spend time together. Right now in 2022, there are amazing, small groups meeting up for practical training. They also benefit from online videos & resources to help inspire & support them at home. Plus, I'm always there if they've got a question. Strictly K9 Dog Training is Kennel Club Listed to run the Good Citizen Dog Scheme. Every year hundreds of dogs and owners are able to join in at a level to suit them & progress. Puppies, adolescents, adult & senior dogs are all welcomed. I also offer 1-2-1 training which is a fabulous way to enjoy personalised training with less distractions. Looking for something different ? you can even get involved in training inspired by Canine Hoopers, Heelwork To Music or simply having fun wih your dog finding what they enjoy from retrieving, to tricks or sniffy games. Due to the pandemic following an initial chat you might be invited to join me online or outdoors in person; based on latest guidelines & Covid-19 safe working practices.

Hello Everyone,

I'm just reposting how dog friendly Whitchurch is and how training helps our dogs in the rally world. We were chattting about this at indoor classes during the week. Whilst this advert is from Spring 2023, I'm pretty sure if you’re running errands or have even started your Xmas shopping locally, you will find a warm welcome still awaits you.

A recent visit to Newcastle Upon Tyne city centre with our dogs was testimony to how vital training is. Feel free to get in touch to see if we have a training option to suit your needs?.

Fancy trying out a different kind of off lead training in the lovely fresh air? Canine Hoopers is free flowing, low impact and lots of fun.

A lovely activity you can then practise at home. Here’s Christie our Golden Retriever doing just that.

Our outdoor venue at Hadley Park, Whitchurch has lots of parking, Cafe and a canal walk all on site too!. Simply get in touch to discuss.

Such a lovely evening of classes from Puppy, Puppy Progress through to Advanced. The dogs all worked alongside each other so well.

- Meeting the new puppies and their guardians starting their training journey with us.
- Recharging markers.
- Improving focus using station training.
- Practicing The Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Scheme exercises like loose/off lead walking games, off lead recalls and sendaways.
- Monitoring comfort levels during training and practising calm time.
- Plus, we explored Variable Ratio Schedules and a non-food reinforcer.

Great to see Brandy, Tara, Dolly, Morris, Fergus, Bear, Indy, Dolly, Diego, Lupo, Joey, Lola, Holly, Poppy, George, Koda, Wilma and Tilly with their guardians.

Looking forward to a final term together before Xmas.

Congratulations to everyone for a super Autumn term of classes.

Group training provides a special hour each week to learn and improve in a supportive environment. There’s often laughter, stories shared and lots of encouragement.

Classes are very friendly and all levels are catered for. A provision for continual learning to improve life skills, nuture confidence and have fun. And if classes aren’t for you or your dog, you can book a 1-2-1.

Dougie, Rosie, Lupo and Joey (pictured) enjoyed The Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation Courses with their classmates and are now adveturing, growing and chilling for half term break before starting a Puppy Progress Course; which even includes a Christmas Party week. Such fun.

Extra thank you to the following dogs and their guardians who have been a pleasure to work with this term and progressed so well;

Oti’s Sendaway has a social little touch at the end she added in 🐾

Can you spot Oti’s personal touch in her sendaway to an unusual marker? She offers this all by herself and all our hearts just melt watching her don’t they. Oti loves target training. Last term she quickly learnt to ring a bell with her paw too.

Some dogs are real water babies. Just like adorable Charlie here who comes to classes. Even a little bit of water in a paddling pool, washing up bowl or tray can be refreshing to paddle, play or forage in. Seek shade, hang out indoors in the cool or ditch those walks at warm times of day and chill 😎 like Charlie. 🐾 How is your dog keeping chilled ? Feel free to show or tell us how.

Hello sunshine ☀️ Looking forward to introducing Canine Hoopers over the coming months with lots of my lovely clients.

Interested in trying something new ? I’ve been enjoying Canine Hoopers with my dogs and some of my clients for a few years now and as an Accredited Canine Hoopers UK instructor can also guide you and your dog through an introduction to this low impact, free flowing and fun dog sport.
