Due to many of you travelling from various directions in the dark and the risk from ice ❄️ this evening as temperatures go below zero, I am cancelling tonight’s classes.

It’s a SNOW DAY. All indoor training is cancelled today (Tuesday).

This is to ensure everyone avoids unnecessary journeys, stays safe, warm and has the option of enjoying the snow at home.

Messages have been sent out.

A decision about Wednesday evening classes will be made tomorrow.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

For many dogs it’s their first experience of snow ❄️ so enjoy!.

Hello Everyone,

I'm just reposting how dog friendly Whitchurch is and how training helps our dogs in the rally world. We were chattting about this at indoor classes during the week. Whilst this advert is from Spring 2023, I'm pretty sure if you’re running errands or have even started your Xmas shopping locally, you will find a warm welcome still awaits you.

Fancy trying out a different kind of off lead training in the lovely fresh air? Canine Hoopers is free flowing, low impact and lots of fun.

A lovely activity you can then practise at home. Here’s Christie our Golden Retriever doing just that.

Our outdoor venue at Hadley Park, Whitchurch has lots of parking, Cafe and a canal walk all on site too!. Simply get in touch to discuss.

Such a lovely evening of classes from Puppy, Puppy Progress through to Advanced. The dogs all worked alongside each other so well.

- Meeting the new puppies and their guardians starting their training journey with us.
- Recharging markers.
- Improving focus using station training.
- Practicing The Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Scheme exercises like loose/off lead walking games, off lead recalls and sendaways.
- Monitoring comfort levels during training and practising calm time.
- Plus, we explored Variable Ratio Schedules and a non-food reinforcer.

Great to see Brandy, Tara, Dolly, Morris, Fergus, Bear, Indy, Dolly, Diego, Lupo, Joey, Lola, Holly, Poppy, George, Koda, Wilma and Tilly with their guardians.

Looking forward to a final term together before Xmas.

Half term CPD time - 3 day seminar with Ken Ramirez completed.

Great to attend with Vickie from Dog Confidence.

Time to reflect on the wide array of learning.

I’m now on holiday for a few days and back Monday 4th November.

Congratulations to everyone for a super Autumn term of classes.

Group training provides a special hour each week to learn and improve in a supportive environment. There’s often laughter, stories shared and lots of encouragement.

Classes are very friendly and all levels are catered for. A provision for continual learning to improve life skills, nuture confidence and have fun. And if classes aren’t for you or your dog, you can book a 1-2-1.

Dougie, Rosie, Lupo and Joey (pictured) enjoyed The Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation Courses with their classmates and are now adveturing, growing and chilling for half term break before starting a Puppy Progress Course; which even includes a Christmas Party week. Such fun.

Extra thank you to the following dogs and their guardians who have been a pleasure to work with this term and progressed so well;
