Alternative provision Taster days
We are proud to announce that as of September we will be a alternate provision education setting running the high quality education program developed by the BHS, called changing lives through horses. This program runs in line with key stages and has a fantastic delivery system for children to learn without even realising, the delivery is all based on equine assisted learning and allows children that struggle in main stream education to be supported by the horses in their educational journey.
We are delighted to be offering taster sessions during August to allow children and parents to come and meet us and see what this program is all about.
Our alternative provision will be available to both private and local authority funded placements.
Taster session dates are:
14th/15th/16th August please call 07984524573 to book your place, places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Summer pony camps now available to book.
We are delighted to announce we will be running two camps this year the first will be 29/30 July the second will be 20/21 Aug they are open to all abilities and are a fun packed couple of days. Please feel free to message me for more info.

To all that normally book our term time lessons, they are now available and live on the system, I’ve relaxed the booking so they are still available ( sorry for them going on so late ) I’ve made it simpler to book them now, just need to go buy a membership and then use the membership to book the lesson slots with ☺️

Update on alternative provision
We are currently working towards a start date of the 15th April. We are offering appointments for anyone who would like the opportunity to come meet the team along with the horses and have a look round, places are filling up fast so if you would like to come and see us please feel free to give us a call on 07984524573 and we will be happy to go through your child’s needs and what you are looking for.

Job opportunities
We are planning to open our alternative education setting in the middle of April.
We will be running the BHS changing lives through horses program (CLTH)
We are ideally looking for someone who would be interested in a varied job role, some yard work, some teaching and an interest in helping children and young people in their journey through the CLTH.
A good working knowledge of horse yards and instructing is required for this role, we are happy to put someone through their exams if needed and full training for CLTH will be given.

These are fun days for all ages from 4 upwards
Appropriate clothing and pack lunch needs.
Days run from 10-3 and are a mix of time spend playing with the ponies and riding there may even be an Easter egg or two involved 🥳

Would your child benefit from an alternative provision education setting.
We are going to be offering an AP for children with a love of horses, session will be a balance of horse care, management and riding.
These will be offered primarily to children with EHCP in place and home educated children. We’ll cover a wide range of subjects following the BHS changing lives program working toward nationally recognised qualifications.

Charity set up
Is their anyone with experience setting up a charity that would volunteer to help set one up and potentially help manage it, this will be to enable funds to be raised to make riding more accessible to children that find the cost prohibitive and to help subsidise the cost of sessions for children with particular challenges that require extra assistance during their sessions.

Tuesday 20th February 2024
Fun packed day for all abilities, no prior experience needed, all from 4 years up welcome. The day is 10-3 and is available to book in the below link.
Children will need snacks and a pack lunch and to be in warm appropriate clothing.

Instructor needed
The riding school has grown massively over the last few months and we are in need of another instructor to do weekend mornings initially with extra days as we continue to grow, we are starting the changing lives program over the next few months so more growth and someone with an interest in this would be a bonus.

⭐️New term time lessons ⭐️
We are Offering group lessons at £15 pw
So many parents have asked me if we could do something on a term time basis like all the after school clubs do. So we have listened and are going to give it a go, we are offering group lessons from January at £15 pw to try and help with the ever rising costs, this will be offered in a block each half term, children will be booked in for the full half term in much the same way as after school clubs. We advise getting these booked in early so not to miss out there will be three level and Initially we are going to run them on a Tuesday evening, a beginner intermediate and advanced session will run, if we get more demand than spaces we will look at running other sessions from the spring term, but for the January term once we are booked we are booked, click the link below to buy the pack for the term and your child will automatically be booked into the full term sessions. ( you will need to register with us before buying the pack if you are not a regular client)
