JOB VACANCY

We are adding to our team .
We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual to join our friendly team and help maintain our high standards.

Part time hours but more hours available during busy periods. Shifts over Monday to Sunday so must be able to work weekends

General duties will include caring for dogs/cats, cleaning housing areas, exercising dogs, feeding, administering medication, bathing and grooming dogs, meeting and greeting customers and general maintenance work.
Assisting in our groomers washing and drying dogs

⭐️must be willing to work weekends
⭐️must have own transport
⭐️excellent communication and customer service skills

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Kennels environment and have a qualification in animal care.

As we are coming into our extremely busy time of year- please please ensure you have booked the correct dates for your pets stay as we are not always able to add extra days onto their stay 🙈.
Also if you require your pet to be bathed or groomed prior to going home please add this at the time of booking their stay as we are not always able to fit this in last minute ❤️

Our little fur babies go to Bankend for their holidays when we are away and get their haircut’s.

Bankend Cattery & Kennels is a small family run business offering 1 to 1 ultimate care and personal attention to our guests in modern, bright, secure, spacious accommodation. Bankend Cattery & Kennels are fully licensed with Copeland Borough Council.

We have spacious apartments for our feline guests, which are fully insulated and individually heated to ensure that each guest will be warm and comfortable at any time of the year.

We offer kennels with or without runs depending on each dogs needs. All of our doggy guests are walked and get lots of attention and stimulation during their stay.

We have a veterinary surgeon on site every day to ensure all of our guests are in good health

The highest standards of hygiene and attention are maintained. Your Pet will receive sensitive, regular individual attention including cuddles at no extra cost.

We aim to make your pets stay with us an enjoyable one!

We know that caring pet owners can find it difficult to leave their pet in a cattery or kennels and for reassurance we encourage owners to come and inspect the premises and meet the owners. You can relax safe in the knowledge that the kennels are under 24hr supervision and the whole site is covered and monitored by CCTV cameras.
