Well this is a bit embarrassing! I managed to give myself stress fractures in both feet running the marathon and they have only been diagnosed this week. So now I’m sporting this highly attractive and desirable footwear for a good few weeks.
Whilst I’m still able to work, I know a few of you have had to be postponed over the last few days and next week, I’m so sorry and I’m so very grateful for the understanding and the care, I will always maintain I have the best customers!
I shouldn’t be disrupting anyone further but I am struggling a bit with the bigger dogs so please bear with me if I need to postpone you.
This is not really how I wanted my marathon story to end 🙄😂 but I still raised an incredible amount of money thanks to you all and I still have my medal, which no-one can take away from me…. Although you probably could at the moment cos I can’t chase after you!!
Thanks for all the understanding, laughing at me, calling me a stormtrooper, a robot etc! It’s making me smile!!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a good start to the year.

Some of you know that I am running The London Marathon in April for the RNID.

It’s a charity that’s incredibly meaningful for me being profoundly deaf and having tinnitus. It’s an amazing charity and I am honoured to be running for them.

I’m going to be doing some fundraising in the parlour and we’re kicking it off with this!

Each square is £5 and once the grid is full, I’ll draw a number and whoever gets picked will receive their groom for free. (Some of Ria’s old customers may recognise this, cos I stole her idea!! I’ve told her, don’t worry!!)

If you’d like to buy a square, let me know in the parlour or message me and I’ll add your names.

🎄 Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and keeping warm now the temperatures are dropping. Just a quick message to say that I don’t have any more space this year, and my earliest availability is from Tuesday 23rd January.

Handsome boy Donald was so brave today, he hates the dryer, but today he realised it wasn’t so scary! Such a clever boy! He’s been trimmed nice and short so he can enjoy running through bogs and generally getting himself filthy! 💜

Gorgeous regular Polly brought Timmy with her today. She (and her mum!) are fostering him whilst he waits to find his forever home. He’s the cutest little boy and was so brave experiencing a bath for the first time. Whoever ends up adopting this little one will be so lucky 💜

Such sad news this morning to know we’ve lost a lovely man who did so much for animals.
But I hope it was wonderful for him when he got up there and was greeted by some of the hundreds of dogs he helped over the years, face licks, zoomies and wagging tails. RIP Paul 🌈🐾🐾
