Most of you are probably aware by now I'm now attending/participating in a long covid rehabilitation program after suffering from long covid for nearly 2 years. These appointments have resulted in having to change/rearranging my diary quite often over the last few months due to the fatigue etc and to add onto that chaos I've been nursing my very poorly 21 months old chihuahua for the last 6 weeks who has been attending numerous hospital appointments/physiotherapy with hydrocephalus syringomyelia (fluid on her brain and spine) and then a week ago started having seizures which are thankfully under control with medication.
As you all also know I'm very accommodating (making early or late appointments, having your furry ones dropped off earlier or later than appointment times, fitting in around the school run or your working hours not mine and even picking up or dropping off to help you out.
So what I'm really saying is thank you to all of you that are fully understanding when it comes to me running late every day to make sure I do the best possible/most perfect groom I can to make sure you are happy with the service I provide. Not only was I not in the best of health when I took on the salon 4 years ago I'm also still not in the best of health, getting older and slower as the years go by but I will never drop my standard of groom or care for every one of your pooches just because of the time of day or the drying time of different coats or the fact they don't like their feet and legs touched or they don't like the bath or they don't like the dryer etc. I will always do my best to make their visit to me the most enjoyable it can be even though they hate all the things I have to do to them to make them even more beautiful than they already are.
As you can appreciate working alone I stop on a regular basis to answer the phone to make an appointment, answer the door for a nail cut or a face trim in-between grooms, taking payment, arranging the next appointment etc which all adds onto the length of time your pooch is in the salon with me.
So again what I'm saying is for those that are not happy with my time frames and have come in ranting at me because of this thankfully you won't be having the pleasure of my perfection ever again through my choice before it even crossed your mind not to book in again.

❌URGENT!!!❌

🛑WARNING ABOUT SNOW GLOBES 😢 from another family 🛑

Yesterday we lost two of our dogs💔😢One had managed to pull a Christmas snow globe from the shelf and as fast as I got to them and was wiping them and the floor, the liquid was everywhere.
The liquid didn’t feel like water, so I googled snow globes and saw that some have antifreeze in them. I rang our vets who said to ring the toxology helpline. I did this and they said to get them to the vets straightaway, so I called them back and they saw them.
Treatment begun very quickly; induced vomiting, antidote and then they were put on drips as a precaution. With antifreeze poisoning the window for treatment is very slim, but we all acted fast.
Regardless 28 hours later Lexi passed away, followed by Milo 6 hours after💔💔

I never knew some snow globes contained antifreeze. It only takes a very small amount to poison a dog or cat, and it’s poisonous for us too. The liquid is apparently sweet, so pets will lick it.

Please if you have any snow globes be careful with them. I wouldn’t wish this in my worst enemy 💔
