Hi, it's been a while! It's also been a very busy summer season, only just calming down even though it's nearly Autumn Half Term!
So, time to post some piccies of the beautiful creatures that have been keeping me busy, starting with the ever gorgeous Jasper and Artemis. Artemis loves to play hide and seek, but so far, I've always managed to find her!

I have often said that this is one of the most wonderful and varied jobs, but this particular one really was a one off! Looking after the cats that live on St Mary's island (with their lovely family) is unusual in itself, but having to negotiate with the local seals to get to the front door was a bit unexpected but fabulous!

I think Molly was pretty content when she came for her holiday with us.... Look at that smile 🥰

I have recently finished a very special job, looking after 3 beautiful birds, 2 cockatiels and a budgie, for 3 weeks whilst their family were away. Two visits a day meant that I was able to to let them fly free all day and put them to bed each night. Initially they (and me!) were a little unsure, but as you can see, we soon became very fond of each other. Daily updates including photos and some videos kept their owners happy that they were fine. What a wonderful job I have!

Pookie really wanted to sit on the arm of Lula's chair so she could see out of the window. I can't believe Lula declined when Pooks did such a beautiful dance for her! 😅
