Weather has been OK for January. Our guest Bagel has enjoyed some fun in the run.
The new piggies, Charli and Rhea have slotted in perfectly with the hurd which is great, I've sent videos over to there previous owner and she's really happy, as I'm I, more piggies to love ❤️ 😍

Now, Butterball and Gracie. The bonding has started. They have had a few days in the double cages with a mesh divider between them so they can see each other which has gone good. Today, as the weather was so nice we put them both in Buddies garden enclosure where there's so much space. Travis and I stayed with them all day, watching there every move from 9 - 4pm. In all that time there was 1 spat between them, it lasted 15 seconds if that, over and done with, no harm to either. Butterball is definitely the more energetic, so good to see her have loads of zoomies 🤣. The day ended with them sharing veg together before it got dark and back into the double cage with mesh divider.
Buddie was introduced for a short while, all went well as I thought it would, he's a pretty chilled out dude! More of that to come.
Can't wait for more tomorrow, weather permitting 🤞

We would like to welcome our new bunnies. Gracie & Butterball, approx 7mth old. They have previously stayed with us lots over the last 4 months and I've become very fond of them. So when asked if we could help re-home them we jumped at the chance of taking them on. Buddies been plodding along & definitely has missed Cali and the recent loss of Bo so our plan is to get them both spayed & bonded together and introduce them to Buddie and become a trio, free roaming.
We'll keep you updated on the progress 🥰

A tad late, I know, I'm sorry. But once the brilliant Christmas & New Year guests sadly left, Travis & I jumped on a 🛫 to Sharm El Shake, OMG, Amazing place!!!

Anyhooooo. We are home tomorrow. 15th. Boohoo for leaving the Sun, but soooo looking forward to the fabulous guests due in 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Sad news, Bo the guinea pig passed away on Monday. He came to live with us in May 23 when his owners emigrated to NZ. He became inseparable with Buddie, they had a fab relationship, so much fun to watch them together & Bo constantly pinched the veg out of buddies mouth and ran off with it. He'd nut you if you picked him up, funny character. He's a miss, Buddie is wondering around the garden looking for his little side kick 😢

Travis & I have had a few lovely days away in Benidorm, where ever we are I hunt out Furry Friends, have to have my daily fix of fur, fluff & feathers hahaha, this was brilliant, I had tail feathers in my mouth haha Furry Friends Holiday Boarding

Sat having a cuppa & Jazz or Indy (not sure which is which, soz Lee) had a good munch on lettuce, how unbelievably cute is this 😍 chomp chomp chomp

The sky is dry (1st time in 2 days), making the most of a rain free day... so far!!! Rain doesn't bother the ducks though hahaha
