Patience and Progression with Grace 🧡
Initially Grace was quite worried about my presence. After hiding under the bed, the sofa and on top of the wardrobe, she finally realised I was a safe person.
Patience and space were needed for her to be able to begin to trust that my intentions were good.
Once Grace knew she could trust me she wanted LOTS of fuss and attention. Sitting next to me on the sofa and rubbing her head all over me to scent me 🥹

I am now off for a couple of weeks. As you can imagine, working 7 days a week for weeks on end can be very tiring 😴

I love the connection you can have with an animal. Neither of you speak the same language yet it’s almost as though you both know what each other are saying/thinking.
I can’t remember a time where I didn’t feel a strong pull towards animals.
