Putting our training into practice π Donny being a very good boy and staying in his bed and not jumping up at the table.
Does your dog jump up at the table or kitchen counter? πThen lets teach them what TO doπ
πΆ staying in your bed is more rewarding then jumping up
πΆ build up the time between rewards
πΆ being positive π
Does your dog jump up at the dinner table when you're trying to eat? Teach them this π

πππHere it is! The update on the changes to Behind the Bark πππ
πI have some exciting news to announce next week!π
Me and Chips flirt pole session π
Angus being taught to stand on the arm
of his sofa in preparation to being taught to accept being groomed βοΈ
Beautiful day for a dog walk πΆββοΈ
My second session with Angus π We are teaching him that grooming isn't so bad and also he has a choice. If he stands on the arm of his little sofa and has his head in my hands means he's happy to be groomed and if he moves away then we stop βοΈ We are just teaching him the concept and what is nice in this video he chooses not to take part by moving his head away. This is perfect as he is then choosing the come back and take part π
Kitty enjoying tearing into a box to get her breakfast π such a simple way to get your dog using their brain π§
Here's Spud being a super star π this is a fairly long video but it shows you how much training needs to be broken down. Things can get very confusing and frustrating if you move on to quickly. Here we are teaching Spud to stay with the end goal being the owner can walk to the front door and let people in before he gets up to greet them.
Well done Spud!
Lovely update on Ralph and his "step training". This training has allowed his owners to be able to ask Ralph to move away from a potential conflict and also some where to settle while the owners are eating π AMAZING π
For showing good self control and for being a star Kitty gets a treat and a chance to sniff out any food I might of missed π
