BIG TED & LILY both lovely dogs still waiting for a home - will be the new year now,TED as his name explains is a big softy he’s been tested with other dogs and takes everything in his stride - Lily also been tested with other dogs and is ok so far, looking for the right people who are willing to put the work in and someone who doesn’t expect any dog to just do as they are told within a week, taking on a dog is a big responsibility, and it takes time to get to know each other’s little quirks and routines, if your looking for a “robot” dog they don’t exist, if your not prepared to clean the odd accident from your kitchen floor then don’t apply.
Sorry to sound harsh but we are sick of people expecting a perfect dog!
They expect nothing from you and don’t judge and all they ask in return is the same.
There are many more greyhounds waiting for homes and being looked after well while they wait this isn’t a sob story but the next chapters in their lives so if you can accommodate please let us know.
We have started a foster scheme where people who have lost a dog can help us by temporarily homing a dog - not only will this help the dog adjust to a home but can perhaps fill an empty space in your life, you can be assured they will certainly do that !
We will provide some help with this, food leads etc if you think you may be able to foster a dog please message ! Sorry for the long post but these don’t don’t have high expectations from you just a comfy bed and companionship 😀

We have Rehomed EVA and BUBBLES both doing really well in their new homes! We have quite a few more now needing that chance for a family, our star dog who is just so cuddly BIG TED a dark brindle requires a large bed and a large heart he is so relaxed and quite happy lounging around - once his belly is full ! We did have someone interested but I felt that the children were too small and because of his size i guess he may knock them over so larger children will be fine!

Lovely LILY not one person has been interested in her, such a shame she loves hanging out watching films with some snacks, she even knows when rain is coming and now prefers to comfort sit until it’s over !
I have taken her out in the rain which she doesn’t mind but does look up to you for reassurance if there’s thunder, but not nervous about it. She is 5 years old and would love a family, older children as she can barge a little when excited - mostly when the lead comes of the peg, once walking does not pull - full support given

BIG TED - lovely dark brindle boy - Big Ted although the is quite a nice size he is the most laid back boy, doesn’t pull on the lead stands still while you get it on had a little spin and off we go! Been tested in the “house” obviously claims the settee as his own but doesn’t mind sharing as long as you stroke his ears and neck 😄 BIG TED is 3 years old but acts like a pensioner - ideally would suit older children likes a walk as they all do and then quite happy to loll around, if you are interest in Ted please message - we welcome weekly meets until he thinks he’s right for you! we are always on the end of a phone for his life time, plus if you ever need to go away we will certainly have him back for his hols! Comes with full support & guaranteed placement should things not work out.

If your considering rehoming a dog and never had a greyhound you won’t be disappointed they are the most suitable pet for families once their racing career is over, they will happily loll around the place sometimes in positions you wouldn’t think possible! And happy with couple walks a day, they don’t demand nothing these dogs and are a unique breed, once you’ve had one you will find it’s not enough ! Or if you could consider adopting while they wait for their new home please get in touch thank you

Lots of lovely greyhounds available looking for homes- we have more waiting to come in, if your not to sure about rehoming a greyhound and would love to know more about the breed we are doing an open day and will have a stall and a few of our dogs there in the day, information on private “lessons & own a greyhound for a day “ will be available if this would interest people, they give so much back ❤️
