So many of these amazing dogs end up in rescue centres! 💔 But here's your chance to make a difference! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Haven’t posted in a while been getting ready for winter, busy busy busy and getting no we’re fast ! Thanks to all new followers 👍 if anybody is interested in fostering a greyhound short term please let me know, there are sometimes oldies that need care over winter until a permanent placement found, we are all feeling the pinch in society now and I can’t see things getting any better for rehoming centres, financial burdens and vetenary costs rising, I pay for everything myself here with no outside help, if anyone can help with social media, advertising etc also let me know - meanwhile we have some lovely dogs waiting for that special person to come along …..

BIG TED & LILY both lovely dogs still waiting for a home - TED as his name explains is a big softy he’s been tested with other dogs and takes everything in his stride - Lily also been tested with other dogs and is ok so far, looking for the right people who are willing to put the work in and someone who doesn’t expect any dog to just do as they are told within a week, taking on a dog is a big responsibility, and it takes time to get to know each other’s little quirks and routines, if your looking for a “robot” dog they don’t exist, if your not prepared to clean the odd accident from your kitchen floor then don’t apply. Sorry to sound harsh but we are sick of people expecting a perfect dog! They expect nothing from you and don’t judge and all they ask in return is the same. There are many more greyhounds waiting for homes and being looked after well while they wait this isn’t a sob story but the next chapters in their lives so if you can accommodate please let us know. We have started a foster scheme where people who have lost a dog can help us by temporarily homing a dog - not only will this help the dog adjust to a home but can perhaps fill an empty space in your life, you can be assured they will certainly do that ! We will provide some help with this, food leads etc if you think you may be able to foster a dog please message ! Sorry for the long post but these don’t don’t have high expectations from you just a comfy bed and companionship 😀
