Mass killing of stray animals in Turkey! 🤬
The publicity of this cruel and barbaric system in Turkey is gaining public momentum and is now featuring on news channels around the world! Boycott Turkey as a holiday destination please! 🙏And let this be a lesson to Mauritius and other countries around the world that still kill their animals instead of using the system of mass catch-neuter-release

Happy Easter to all our supporters 🐣🌼🐰
It’s with great sadness that today saw the passing of our very special girl Liana 💔Liana was rescued from Bambous region of Mauritius back in 2019. Lorena Gaus answered the call to rescue a very sick, emaciated girl who was near to death! No one expected Liana to live but her determination to survive combined with the care and devotion of Lorena, she did!Now came the difficult task of finding someone to adopt a beautiful girl inside but who had the scars of the horrendous cruelty she was subjected to! That’s where my dear friend Joanne Morris came in!!She saw past all the scars and saw into the eyes of the most sweetest and loving girl who despite everything she endured just wanted to love and be loved! Joanne and her family gave Liana the most wonderful 4 years and loved her dearly! 🥰Sadly the last 6 months have not been easy and Liana has been very unwell. Despite the devotion, care and thousands spent on vets by Joanne, it was time! Today Liana gained her wings and is no longer suffering and is at peace! ❤️Joanne, you have been the light at the end of a very dark tunnel for not just Liana but many more Maurichiens and you have given them a life they could only have dreamed of! I will always be eternally grateful for your support and love you show to the strays of Mauritius! 🥰Sleep tight beautiful Liana, you will be missed so much 🌈💔
This week Zeus was reunited with Clio and Alfie and he was so pleased to see them 🥰All 3 Ambre dogs are now in foster with Maria and her own dogs. They are now safe, have their own beds to sleep in and enjoying their chicken and rice 🥰Once they have settled into their new way of life, I will be looking for forever families for them overseas 😊

We have to be brave and stand up for these animals in Mauritius!
Not just the hotel strays, but every single stray on this island!!
If everyone is too scared to speak out then nothing will ever change!!
Enough is enough!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Meet Will and Grace! 🥰🐾 Will was found wandering the streets of Mauritius. We sent Pravesh to see if he could find the pup the next day but he was nowhere in sight! Then by chance, Pravesh met an elderly lady and he asked her if she had seen the pup. And yes she had! Will and (Grace) another pup we’re at her home! Grace was chained up and Will was cowering in a corner obviously afraid of the lady. The are both skinny, starving with barely any fur and covered in mange. And yes, they had been given no treatment so we took them! They are both now safely in the care of Lorena at The Animal House Rescue thanks to Pravesh. They are understandably scared and bewildered and Will has a leg injury which we will update you on once they are more settled. If you are able to help with a donation towards their treatment and rehabilitation, you can do so on the details below. https://www.paypal.me/lisa4PAWS
This is Blu! 💙
He is one of the Famous Five Belle Mare stray pack.
He has been there for many months now and is a firm favourite with the hotel tourists 🥰
However two weeks ago one of the hotels contacted us and said he was being “aggressive” and was coming inside the resort and he needed to be removed!
Blu is in no way “aggressive” and is in fact a friendly, well behaved, loving boy.
The strays only react in a negative way due to fear towards staff and very rarely tourists who challenge them in an “aggressive” and threatening manner!
At request of the hotel concerned we removed Blu as we feared what would happen to him if we didn’t! There was a female in the vicinity in season and so our thoughts were that once that was over then things would be calmer.
So we removed Blu for two weeks and now it is time for him to be put back on the beach before his pack will no longer accept him.
This absolutely breaks our hearts 💔 but with no other long term solution for him, we have no choice!
If you would like to be Blu’s family and can offer him an alternative to being returned to the beach then please get in touch with me (Lisa) initially on WhatsApp 07496924661 for more information and for costs of adoption overseas.
