Hi everyone, a bit of a sadder post tonight. Had the news recently that a few of my grooming clients have crossed the pet rainbow bridge and are no longer with us😔 Just wanted to do a post to pay my respects and send my condolences to their owners❤️
Firstly we have Izzy. Izzy was a very sweet and elderly Jack Russell who I had the pleasure of giving a new lease of life to a few months ago! She was very compliant throughout the groom and such a sweet girl! I was so happy to see the owners reaction and to know that they were so pleased with how her groom turned out and how well behaved she was!😊
Secondly we have Teddy, Teddy was a young labradoodle who was full of life! He was one of my regular clients who had been coming every 4 weeks since I opened my business last October! Unfortunately he recently had a medical emergency and didn’t make it through the operation😔 I’m still very shocked and processing that I won’t get to see him bouncing up my driveway again ready for his groom💔
Third we have Elsha! Elsha was a stunning elderly white German Shepard and had the most calm nature I’ve ever known of the breed! Becoming a dog groomer I was always wary when hearing stories about how German Shepards can be dangerous to groom and many people don’t groom them. I was nervous to take her on by myself as I was only a month into opening my business! She has really now put my mind at ease for all future dogs of similar breeds as she was so accepting and so cooperative throughout the process😊

Hey everyone just wanted to share a post to promote my friends new hair dressing salon she has recently opened in Rettendon! Freya Edwards She is a hairdresser based in rettendon common, she has some availability coming up through the next couple of months, she would love to welcome new clients to the salon. She currently only operates on a female only clientele basis as she specialises in hair colouring and balayage! If you’re in need of a new hair colour or a little cut and tidy up, pop her a message! Mo the Jack Russell recently came for a full groom coat deshedding treatment! A common phrase I hear as a dog groomer is ‘my dog has short hair he/she doesn’t need grooming!’ This is completely false and a regular de shedding treatment for short hair dogs is very beneficial for their health! De shedding of a dogs coat can help to remove old dead hair still stuck to the coat, can help to release clogged pores from bacterial buildup which overtime can cause skin issues and irritation. It will also stimulate new coat growth which will leave your dog with a shinier smoother coat that’s not greasy and dry. Along with all this it means less time cleaning up hairs at home! All of this hair came out of Mo’s coat which would’ve just ended up around the owners home!😱

Hello everyone, I am a brand new Dog Grooming and Dog Holiday Boarding business opening in Wickford. I am based on the Wick SS12. I offer a variety of ‘home from home environment’ services and am happy to announce I am now ready to be taking bookings for dog grooming commencing later this month! I am City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 Qualified. I am fully insured and have two years experience including a years work placement within industry. Working with dogs of all different breeds, shapes and sizes! I also have basic dog first aid and CPR training and certification as part of my course.
For Dog holiday Boarding I am currently awaiting approval of my council license so please like and follow my page and drop me a message to register your interest in Holiday Boarding of your dog for any Holidays or trips you might have booked in for next year! I currently regularly look after friends and families dogs and have been a registered foster carer for the Dog’s Trust Freedom Project for the past 3 years. The Freedom Project helps to temporarily remove dogs from households experiencing domestic violence and abuse until it is safe for them to return. So I have plenty of experience with dogs of all different needs.

Look at this handsome fella!😍 Popeye was wonderful today for his full coat de-shedding treatment! A common phrase I hear being a dog groomer is ‘my dog has short hair and doesn’t need grooming!’ This is completely false as all smooth coated breeds benefit greatly from a de-shedding treatment. It not only helps to remove dead coat that will fall off all around the house but will help to clear clogged pores from bacteria, clean the coat and create a better shine of the dogs coat removing any ‘greasy’ appearance.
