This young man is 2 year old DAPPY, whose photos don’t do him justice at all as he is very dapper indeed! However, DAPPY was rather excited by the camera 🤣.
He is a striking white and blue boy, who is just 2 years old so he is full of beans and looking for a slightly more active forever home where he can enjoy adventures. He will be a lot of fun for the right household as he’s a confident chap!
Due to his enthusiastic nature, DAPPY would be best suited to a household with children over the age of 8.
He retired injury free - he used to get distracted by the other dogs he was running with! However we don’t believe he will be cat workable but are looking to introduce him to other breeds soon!

Henry was previously kennelled with gorgeous girl Shoey (now homed and known as Suki!) - he absolutely thrived when partnered with such an outgoing, happy girl!
As you can see from his video, he’s such a people orientated boy when he bonds with you!

Our wonderful Peppa is just delightful! She has the most beautiful face and stunning amber eyes…we think you’ll agree! If she was a person, she would be a little supermodel!
Peppa is a darling girl, very chilled and will happily snooze and mooch the day away!
She will be turning 4 in January next year and would love to be in a home before then! She is clean and quiet in her kennel and has always gotten on well with her boyfriends so we believe she could be homed as an only hound or as a perfect girlfriend for any batchelor hounds that are looking for the perfect girlie!

Last for small dog testing, but by no means least, was Syd! Oh my goodness what an angel…he just took it in his stride - if anything he was a little wary! Syd was lovely and calm, no pulling on the lead, no real interest in the others! We even met a golden retriever on the walk and he looked and then looked away!

Today we had some visitors to the kennels to help socialize some of our hounds who are patiently waiting for their homes!
We welcomed Jerry, Eric and Nala to Burton Lodge and they were absolute superstars!
First up to meet them was Barker! Just look at this video 😍😍 - Barker was such a good boy!
He has never met another breeds today and he did so well! Instantly brilliant with the whippet sized boys and a little more confused by Nala but she gave him a little growl and he was instantly respectful to her!
Look at that happy, waggy tail! Well done Barker 😍
This lad is so ready to be part of a family and enjoy adventures outside of kennels - hopefully it’s his turn soon! 🤞🤞
