At the moment the widnes studio doesn't look much like a studio as we are building sets for a new shoot coming up so there's glue everywhere.

The little guy in this photo is now 2 years old its lovely being able to look back and see how he looked compared to now and see just how much he has changed.

This is why our pup and up is a good way to keep these memories why not book a session if you've just got a new little puppy.

Has it happened to us: Yes it did , we took Molly our elderly standard poodle out for a shoot not thinking she was near to the end of her life but found her deceased a few weeks when we came downstairs and found her. It was heart breaking. I have included her picture in this post for everyone to see it is my husbands cherished possession.

I took my beautiful Luna to paw traits last year for a photo shoot. She was treated as if she was their own dog. Even I had fun watching the way she behaved for them. They are professional but also very down to earth & friendly. Lunas portrait captured her mischievous and loveable nature. Everyone who visits comments on what a great portrait it is

They bring so much joy and love into our lives, and their absence leaves a void that is difficult to fill. It's important to allow yourself time to grieve and remember all the happy memories you shared with your furry friend. It's okay to feel sad and to miss them deeply.

Above all, remember that your dog will always hold a special place in your heart, and their memory will live on through the love and joy they brought into your life. Take comfort in knowing that they are at peace, and that they will always be a cherished member of your family.

We lost molly last year and that was really hard , a week before she died we had her out taking pictures looking as lovely as ever

Some really good advice

SUDDEN WIND OVERNIGHT AND TODAY - take extra care for your furry friends!

Please check all fences and gates BEFORE letting your pets out this morning. Don’t just assume everything is as you left it last night, do a manual check of gates and your whole fence before letting your dog into your garden.

Check on animals who may live outside (eg birds/small animals/outdoor cats), make sure they are safe and comfortable. The wind is making it feel colder than it has been recently, so they may need some extra bedding or a cover over their shelter area.

SECURE YOUR DOGS when walking - use two points of contact and high visibility equipment if possible. ANIMALS CAN SPOOK EASILY IN THE WIND and quickly become disorientated or likely to run away if a gust of wind moves things around, so be aware of increased escape risk even on walks. This is very important for all dogs but especially newly adopted, nervous or foreign dogs. It’s worth the extra few minutes of planning to keep them safe 🙏🏼

Look at the lovely ivy , needing her forever home 💕 there must be someone out there for her

Please meet Ivy, a beautiful 2yr old Staff who is looking for her special somebody 🌸
Ivy is a fabulous lady, she has been through a lot in her little life already and is as tough as nails!!

Ivy initially came into us as she was hit by a car, she had to have major surgery on her back leg but is recovering slowly but well! She is now back to running around playing and enjoy multiple short walks to build her muscle back up.
We wouldn’t like this put any potential owner off, she is healing wonderfully and has been seen by a specialist too. We will also cover some sessions on hydrotherapy when needed.

Ivy loves to play with her toys, eat pigs ears and sleep!! She is a real cuddle monster and doesn’t realise she’s quite a heavy girl 🙈
Ivy is great with other dogs however to help her leg recover the best it can, she will need a pet free home. When fully recovered she can get back to playing with her canine friends properly 🤍
Ivy does have a little bit of anxiety, especially our and about around new/loud areas and will need a caring owner who is happy to reassure her.
