S & B Pets Limited is a family run business that was established in 1978. But due to the old market being knocked down we are down to the one shop , in Widnes market. We don't stock live stock. We do stock a wide range of food an treats for dogs, cats , rodents, birds and much more. Also leads bows , shampoos and a wide range of flea products. Are dog beds are only the best quality (gor pets) Also

Our traders are proudly displaying their commemorative Widnes Market 150th Birthday pin badges, celebrating the market's heritage and status in Halton.
Souvenir badges will shortly be available to purchase, (raising funds for local charities).

Widnes Market's 150th Birthday has arrived!

Following its opening on December 1 1875, Widnes Market saw its first day of trading in Alforde Street, where it stayed until the new market hall opened at Greenoaks almost 30 years ago.

We’ll be hosting celebratory events throughout the year to highlight the market’s heritage and importance within the local community and borough as a whole.

Keep a lookout for announcements about our exciting events and we look forward to seeing you in 2025 for our 150th year!

We are in the process of giving the pub a little make over for you all. One of the first tasks on the agenda is making our bar side of the pub Widnes Vikings themed to show support and welcome in the fans of our town rugby team Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club

If any of the teams fans have any memorabilia, no matter how big or small, gathering dust in the loft that aren’t getting the use they deserve, we would be more than happy to take them off your hands and display them in our pub for all home and away fans to see and enjoy❤️
