Clock Face Kennels

Clock Face Kennels Pet Boarding and Grooming in the North west of England Licence number AB07. We are a small boarding kennels and cattery, with central heating throughout.

We take daily walks with all our boarding dogs, in the surrounding country lanes and footpaths. We also have a grooming studio, and can cater for all breeds of dogs. Prices start at £18 per day for a dog, and £13 per day for a cat, inclusive of food. We do not charge extra for walks in the lanes, or for giving your pet their regular medications. All pets who stay with us must be fully up to date w

ith their vaccines, with proof of vaccine shown on the day of arrival. While we are happy to show you around the facilities, we only do viewings by appointment between 2pm and 4pm.

We have now set our prices for 2026 and the daily boarding rate will be going up by £1 per pet, per day across the board. Of course, we would prefer not to increase at all, life is expensive enough, but the extra £1 was the lowest we could go whilst ensuring we are able to cover our ever-increasing costs.

Confirmation for any bookings we have in for next year will be sent out over the next few days. If an email doesn’t come through, please contact us at [email protected] and request a link to pay the deposit.

For January and February bookings the normal 7 days for payment of deposit will apply. For bookings from March onwards, the auto delete will be disabled until 1st February to give you a little more time to pay.

In the run up to Christmas we have a lot of bookings so please bear with us on check in day, we will get you in as quickly as we can. You can help by making sure you have your pet’s vaccination card with you, and that it is in date. Without this, your pet cannot stay with us! If you’d like us to check beforehand that it meets the requirements, please get in touch. If your pet’s food can be clearly labelled with their name and feeding instructions on, that will be a great help. You can also request a paylink for the balance which again will speed things up a little if you are pushed for time.

***The 24th and 31st December are half day opening, 8:30am – 1:00pm*** We cannot accept drop offs or pick ups outside of these times.

About Us...

Clock Face Kennels. Fully licenced by St Helens council, AB07

We are a small boarding kennels and cattery, set in a quiet area on the edge of St Helens and Widnes, surrounded by fields. We are 5 minutes from the M62 junction of Rainhill, and 10 minutes from Warrington.

All our boarding pets have both inside and outside pens with full access to both through the daylight hours. All inside areas of both the kennels and cattery are fully centrally heated in the colder months. We take daily walks with all our boarding dogs, in the surrounding country lanes and footpaths, whilst the cats have regular 1-2-1 time with the staff.

Prices start at £13 per day for a dog, and £10 per day for a cat, inclusive of food. We do not charge extra for walks in the lanes, or for giving your pet their regular medications.
