To my customers.
Thank you for baring with me at this time. As some as you know my gearbox has packed in on the van so I’ve been unable to groom or to make any bookings for the time being till I am able to get it sorted.
I assure you I’m trying my very best to sort it as soon as possible and not only get back to all your lovely pooches but to continue to earn a living. It’s a very stressful time but one that couldn’t be helped. The joys of relying on a vehicle 🤦‍♀️

To all of you who can stretch your grooms out a little longer I’d appreciate it, but if not I’m sure my good friends over at Dog-Care Grooming or Turner and Pooch would take good care of them in the meantime. I assure you they are in brilliant hands with whichever you chose.

My little boy crossed over to rainbow bridge yesterday due to an unexpected accident. After seeking vet treatment and weighing up our options the decision was made to put and end to his suffering. It’s been a devastating time and I don’t feel like It’s quite sunk in yet.
I’ve decided to take a day or two to let it process and be with my family as that’s what he was to us “family”.
Sorry for the short notice, I couldn’t even image this happening especially to our youngest 💔

As you all know all my products are natural and cruelty free, this is no exception.
It’s a chemical free product specifically formulated for pets using food grade dyes. It’s as cruel as washing a dog with shampoo.
Not for everyone but genos mummy loves it and it’s sure to put a smile on faces bringing that little bit extra of happiness to the world 💙.

Ozzy came for his second groom, although he finds parts of the process difficult he’s already making improvements and I’m slowly but surely gaining his trust.
The joys of 1-1 grooming is that we get to take the time to go at your dogs pace and give them 100% of our attention in a quiet setting. Making the process a more pleasant one 💙

A Massive thank you to the guys at B&E Breakers Service & Repairs for all their hard work rescuing the grooming van!
Most of you know I’ve put everything I have into starting up and accomplishing my 15 year dream. We hit a massive hurdle and I thought the van was a gonner, These guys made sure it’s here to stay!
Without the hard work they put in I’d be off the road and out of business, so from my small business to yours and from all the doggies groomed and due to groom. A big thank you!!
And Anyone looking for any vehicle work I highly recommend b&e. Prices and quality of service are outstanding. Can’t send my gratitude enough!xx

Although Ozzys very anxious about the grooming process we made a few adjustments to make it a much more calmer experience.
Washing with the amazing lavender shampoo to help relax him.
Ozzy hated the force dryer so much he started to bite it.
This isn’t him choosing to be naughty it’s in fact a fear response. So instead of making that worse by forcing him, it was switched for the hair dryer and managed to get him 99% dry by taking breaks when needed in order to let his anxiety drop before continuing.
Drying his head and face will come with time 🙂
Plenty reassurance throughout the groom when he was being a good boy also teaches him what behaviour is expected on the table and over time with patience I’m sure he will learn that grooming is a positive experience not a negative one.
He had major issues with legs and feet and was quite the acrobat on the table. So instead of clipping which he found to be difficult. I scissored most of what I could.

The last point to make is, although as groomers we strive to make every groom perfect, if the perfect comes at a cost of pushing a dog to its limit for a few extra trims here and there it’s not worth it.
Humanity over vanity always ❤️
And I’m sure ozzy feels much better already about the whole experience.
