5 weeks old and they instinctively want to snuggle under a hen 🥰

These two lucky boys have been rescued from a chick rearing farm after being ID today.They are 5 weeks old.Normally they are sexed at a day old and killed 🐣
In the UK, 30 to 40 million male chicks are culled annually.
What a they've had.

This little baby is now living in our care at Nanna Sue's.
The after care wasn't taken into consideration .
Please we beg 🙏Do Not Breed ANY animal unless you can care for them for the rest of their life.

This lovely couple delivered 3 bales of straw today after seeing our straw and Hay bale appeal 🙏 it was perfect timing as our vans in for repair. We are so grateful 🙏

One of the five limpers from last Saturdays rescue is doing amazing 👏
the others are still on pain relief and vitamin supplements.

We have lots of mouths to feed, including some rescued hens from the last Saturdays rescue that arnt being collected until sunday plus injured hens on medication
