Meet tiny Terry, the only survivor of 8 dumped babies . Kindly saved and cared for by these two kind ladies who found them in the grounds of lady Mable woods in the grounds of Haigh Hall Wigan . He's staying with us permanently as he will never be used for breeding.⚠️
Whoever you are who did this , bow your head in shame 🤬. Your your housing must be disgusting . Look at his toes full of dried on filth 😭

Thanks to B&Q wigan for donating some bedding plants, we are hosting a plant sale tomorrow 12 till 2 and Sunday 11 until 1pm

Sweet Williams, marigolds , verbena, busy lizzies , bergonias petunias.

Tomorrow is rescue day for 500 commercial laying hens that were destined for slaughter. Some stll need to find forever homes and will need feeding until they do.

They are doing everything they can to find him, from search parties to flying drones but no success.

Thanks to Richard Bickershaw Hall Nurseries donating more pansies & violas we are hosting another plant sale tomorrow, Sunday 12th of May from 1 until 3pm 6 in a tray for £1
Pansies and violas are related flowers, but they are different. Winter pansies and viola plants are both perennials, but they are in a class of flowers called short-term perennials. Short-term perennials will rebloom each year for a few years, and then you will have to replant. Hopefully we will see some of you tomorrow 🤩🪴🌸🌺🌼

Thank to two of our wonderful volunteers Pam Donnelly and Leonorajayne for helping this baby.

The duckling was dropped off at Orrell Water Park and was chased by the ducks and geese. Luckily it was caught and given to our two volunteers.

The duckling will be taken to the fabulous Margaret Rowson, who will take care of it with the other 15 babies she has in her care, and eventually release on the Clayhole.
