RE : Kennel Cough

At the moment there seems to be a lot of cases of Kennel Cough in the area.
This is just a reminder of the importance of keeping your distance if your dog has, or even if you think they MAY have kennel cough.

This is a highly contagious disease & whilst for many fit & healthy dogs it only means a few weeks of an irritable cough or sickness, we must not forget that for some older & less robust dogs at home it could be much more serious.

Therefore please do not attend classes or training if you think your dog has, or may have kennel cough.

Details of signs/symptoms can be found online, or contact your vet.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

We are a dog training club based in Wigan. We hold training classes for both Obedience and Agility.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Hi everyone, Committee met last night & decided that unfortunately we need to cancel all agility training & all obedience training for the next 2 weeks. The field currently has 90% standing water or extensive muddy areas, and it is not safe for handlers, their dogs or our trainers to work on. We would also just be making matters worse by trying to use the field during this time. We hope you understand our decision, which wasn’t taken lightly, but there is more heavy rain forecast until the end of the month & the safety of everyone & our dogs is our main importance. We thank you for your patience and understanding. See you all soon.
