To mark St George's Day, we're taking a look at breeds that originate from (or are named after) places in England.

So far we have the Lancashire Heeler, Manchester Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier covering the west of the England.

Lakelands, Bedlingtons, Airedales and Yorkies are strong representation for the north. Clumber Spaniels represent Nottingham - specifically named after Clumber Park NT

Norwich and Norfolk Terriers are holding down the fort for representation in East Anglia and the Sussex Spaniel flies the flag for southern England.

We have a bit of work to undo Karis' feelings around equipment after the last trainer her mum had in advised her to use a halti on walks without first making sure she was comfortable wearing it.

Now, anytime her mum approaches her with equipment in her hand, she pees herself :/

If you're handing money over to someone in the name of dog training, please make sure they have the appropriate qualifications and they won't use fear, force or punishment when trying to modify your dog's behaviour.

This one broke my heart. No dog should feel that scared that they lose control of their bladder.
