Puppies 😊
Every year we have lots of youngsters staying with us and this year is off to a cute start wouldn’t you agree ?
Loving his treats from the snuffle mat.
We have a variety of these ,some in soft mat and roll form , others in puzzle format plastic . Each offers a different experience, in searching , texture, and more complex gameplay.
Safe to say this little boy has settled in well and is confident in finding those goodies .
Take a look at the frequently asked questions about boarding of puppies on our website, the ages we can accept pups and the legal requirements along with our recommendations based on our years of experience.
Today was made for Tai

Dukes playtime
As is always the case when we have warm weather, our exercise routine is carried out early morning or late into the evening. How lovely to see a 5 mth old puppy unfazed by the tunnel, Duke absolutely loved it!
When it’s just to warm to do anything other than enjoy you’re favourite ice cold treat 😊
Dexter just loves his apples and carrots 🥕
And another one 😀
These boys had a great time choosing which ball they wanted from the pool.👏
Some long days recently, short nights with early morning starts to beat the heat 😅
Here tonight we have a video of one of our recent boarders. He’s tucked up back home now after enjoying his time us. Some of you may remember Bear for his nifty footwork, and never one to fail to deliver , here he is showing off his skills in the pool once again .
We’re delighted with our recent signing from Dogchester Rovers , a former player for team DBF here on a short term loan 😊
Introducing Bear Peers .
Showing off his close ball skills with some nifty footwork .
Bear gets the ball wide left two step overs, a lollipop , a couple of back heel passes , dribbles past the final defender, nutmegs the goalie and it’s a winning goal in extra time !
They think it’s all over … it is now 🤣
Don’t forget ….. Our last drop off day for pets staying with us over Christmas is 24th December.
Reopening on 27 th for collections .
Well we have just finished this evening after such a busy week . It must have been one of the hottest weeks I can remember and it’s been a trying time , keeping all the pets with us safe during these extreme temperatures.
As wonderful as it is for holiday makers it most certainly can be a dangerous time for many dogs .
I only drove from Pemberton to Kitt Green on Friday afternoon at 1.30 pm and lost count of the number of “ bull “ breed dogs being frog marched around , I really was astonished 😧, it only takes a matter of minutes for these types of dogs to over heat .
And so we don’t have any photos this week of the dogs as we didn’t feel it appropriate, their safety was more important.
We did take this short video tonight of Dexter , a bull dog, enjoying himself on a cooler night which I’m sure everyone would agree on is far better than the heat in the middle of the day .
