🎅🏼 SECRET SANTA 🎅🏼

Our final Christmas event is back by popular demand!
We will be running Secret Santa for anyone who wishes to take part.

How does it work?

You’ll have until the end of November to let us know you’d like to join in, and we will add your dog’s name to the hat.
We will ask you to pull another dog’s name out. You buy a present* (£5 is plenty!), wrap it & label it for that dog. Fetch it back into daycare & we will get it to the correct recipient! We will give you your dog’s present once their Secret Santa has bought for them.

If you’d like to take part, you’re welcome to comment below or let us know next time your dog is in with us.

🍗 CHRISTMAS DINNERS 🍗

Our third Christmas ‘event’! Christmas Dinner Week will be the week commencing 16th Dec. Each dog is entitled to one Christmas dinner throughout the week, free of charge, available to book through the online system as an add on service.

Each dinner will include:

🍗 Cooked meat (turkey or chicken)
🥕 Veggies
🍠 Cooked sweet potato
🍴Dog-friendly gravy

What else do we have planned in December to celebrate Christmas, we hear you cry!

As well as our Saturday Christmas parties, we will be acting as a drop off point for donations for the wonderful Lucie's Animal Rescue.

If you’d like to donate any animal food, treats or toys, please bring them to daycare before Dec 20th. Lucie cares for all kinds of animals, not just dogs, so you’re welcome to shop for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs etc! Have a look at her page tagged above to see the wonderful work she does & the animals she looks after.

🎄 It’s that time of year again, folks! Oh yes it is! Our Christmas parties are back & better than ever.

For each session, spaces are limited so please get in touch to book.

SATURDAY NOV 30TH - Big Dogs Part 1
SATURDAY DEC 7TH - Small Dogs
SATURDAY DEC 14th - Big Dogs Part 2

Drop off for each session is 9-9:30am & collection is 11-11:30am. Christmas jumpers/accessories are optional…unfortunately we can’t promise they will come home in the same state they started the day in. We will be enjoying plenty of outdoor play time, as well as Christmas enrichment games inside.

£20 per dog (non-refundable) payable upon booking.

It’s almost HOWL’OWEEN 🦇 We have some spooky fun lined up for the dogs who are with us on October 31st…BUT before then we are going to be (competitively) carving a pumpkin each 🎃 Keep your eyes peeled over the coming days for pictures of our pumpkins & please vote with your likes as to which you think is best! 👻

Is there anything better than watching dogs being dogs, running free & enjoying the countryside?! We don’t think so! At Stud Farm Country Club for Dogs, we are out for several walks a day on our private land. Dogs are able to sniff, run & play to their hearts’ content, meaning they go home at the end of the day very happy & relaxed. 🐾🍃

You are invited to our first Open Day on Monday 2nd January 😍 This will be a chance for you to have a look around our fantastic Club House, register your dog & perhaps treat them to a few goodies from the Pick & Mix shelf… Drop in any time from 11am - 1:30pm. Humans only for the Open Day, but if you’d like to book a viewing with your dog, please message us to arrange this. 🐾

What exactly is ‘canine enrichment’? Enrichment activities allow dogs to use their natural instincts, and challenge and exercise their brains. They encourage your dog to solve problems and learn new skills, and therefore help them feel more confident. They also encourage calmer behaviour…what’s not to love! Different dogs benefit from different types of enrichment. Some examples are: 🐾 Digging 🐾 Finding hidden treats 🐾 Enjoying a slower-paced ‘sniffari’ walk 🐾 Learning new tricks 🐾 Playing with new or different toys We can’t wait to prepare the different enrichment activities for our daycare dogs! What kind of thing would your dog enjoy?

Watching dogs run free is a lovely thing! Who else owns a speed demon? 💨 We know not all dogs have reliable recall. Rather than excluding them from our long group walks, they will be able to join in the fun on either a lead or a long line where suitable, so that no one misses out! 🥰🐾
