Hey hey hey 👋🏽

I haven't posted in awhile, as stated a few months back, I'm still unfortunately unable to take in any more dogs for the foreseeable. However, we are still here and helping dogs at risk as much as we can to find a rescue space or their forever homes.

I've been contacted today to try and help find a home or rescue space for a 5yr old female Staffy x German Shepherd named Marley.

Her owner has been sent to prison and the family are struggling to continue caring for her so she needs somewhere ASAP! She is currently in a home by herself with someone popping in occasionally to feed her 😞

Can you help? 🙏🏼

- Marley
- 3 years old
- Staffy x German Shepherd
- Microchipped and has had puppy jabs
- Not spayed/never had a litter
- No known health issues
- No known behavioural issues

Family members have little information but have stated that Marley hasn't lived with other dogs or children so would be best suited to a home with no other animals or young children.

We've saved a number of dogs from euthanasia over the past 2 years and got them into their forever homes 🏡 We had to put a hold on taking dogs in last year when I found out I was pregnant however still helped and will continue to help in other ways until we move to a bigger premises (a baby hasn't stopped us completely!)

Bella has been with us for over a year now, we're not sure how she hasn't been adopted yet but she will stay with us until that day comes 🙏🏽

She's a beautiful girl inside and out, loves meeting new people now when once over she was very fearful of them and has taken well to baby Elsie 💚

Cane Corso x Whippet.

1 year old - born 31st Oct 2022
Not neutered
Great with kids and other animals, although he's a still a baby himself and can be abit boisterous through play round small children. So better suited to a house with older children.

Zuco needs a home with alot of space to burn off his heaps of energy.
He's fully vaccinated, micro chipped and has no health issues.
He was last at the vets in October for his nails clipped which he doesn't mind having done.

Temperament wise Zuco is very giddy, playfull and boisterous due to his young age but he's also extremely loving and happy.

He loves visitors and long walks outside. He is learning recall and is responding very well although he does get distracted making coming back take abit longer than normal. ( but he's still got any amount of time yo learn)

Zuco is ok traveling and has a zero bite history.

All in all he's a great dog who deserves a great new family to match his huge personality.
Genuine reason for rehoming. He's my mates dog so If interested send contact details and I'll pass them on.

1 year old Rottweiler x Cane Corso

I have been contacted today as a matter of urgency by a couple who need their dog rehomed due to having a baby on the way and working away. Rocky is currently staying with a friend of theirs but isn't getting the right training/care he needs.

- Not neutered
- Chipped & up to date on vaccinations
- Cat friendly
- Enjoys long walks and playing tug
- Can be hit or miss with other dogs
- Child friendly (unknown)
- Minimal training; knows paw, sit, lie down, pulls on lead
- Not crate trained
- Suffers from seperation anxiety (barks when alone)
- Will benefit going to someone with breed experience

Unfortunately we had to collect Ollie from his previous foster on Wednesday (through no fault of his own) however he settled straight back in and was over the moon to see us all again 🥰

He had a lads day out with Dan, Steven and Stevens' 2yr old son on Thursday in Pooley Bridge Cumbria and Aira Force National Trust and came back very happy and ready for a snooze (no alcohol was consumed by Ollie 😅)

At this time of year the Lake District is SUPER busy but Ollie was totally unphased and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure - he wasn't too keen on small dogs getting close but chose to move away rather than react (well done Ol 👏🏽)

I couldn't be more proud of him and know his forever home is definitely out there somewhere 💚

Let down after let down for these two and I just can't understand why 😩

Both were due to be put to sleep for no real reason, so much work has gone into them, not only by myself but by fosters/volunteers as well. They have come along way in a short time and it breaks my heart that they're being overlooked.

Bella & Ollie are excellent dogs with a lot of love to give and they're still waiting patiently to find their forever homes 🏡

One of our favourite duos! We absolutely love the bond Izzy & Muttley have formed - their relationship is just as beautiful as they are 💕

His previous owners (who had him from a pup) were so willing & ready to put him to sleep, telling me numerous times that he'd never be able to find another home and was a serious risk .. Well, we proved them wrong didn't we 😉

When a dog is with the right people, in the right envrioment getting the proper training & care - they THRIVE and Muttley is doing just that 🫶🏽

💚 HAPPY 3 MONTHS IN YOUR NEW HOME 💚

King is living his best life and we couldn't be more happy for him. He was with us for nearly a year but finally found his forever home with Barry 3 months ago.

Time flys when you're having fun!

We absolutely love and appreciate the regular updates. We'll be meeting up with them in August for a proper catch up & can't wait for a big drooly snuggle (from Kingbo 😉)

A huge thank you to Jolly Ranch Animal Rescue for their donation of duvets and blankets 💚

It's so important for rescues to support each other and as well as the support, I've also made some good friends - what a bonus 👌🏽

We'll be back at the end of the week to buy some fresh eggs for the gang! All the money goes back into their rescue enabling them to save, help and rehome more small animals and cage birds (chickens, ducks, parrots etc).

Max needed a life line just shy of 1 month ago and thankfully the lovely Hannah from Active Animals stepped in. We've been kept up to date on his training and couldn't be happier with the progress he's made - here's what Hannah has to say 👇🏾

Meet Max 1 year old (working line) patterdale

Max is looking for a new home he is a very affectionate and busy little guy (approx 6kg) he has been in foster with us for just over 3 weeks and is thriving, he is an incredibly intelligent boy …..

HOWEVER he requires an experienced, active, quiet adult home, with an interest in training to help him be the best boy

⭐️ Terrier experience essential ⭐️

Can live with an older dog with careful introductions, regular time out and management, but would also be happy as an only dog with regular dog interaction - he has lived with 4 in foster and has his preferences, he needs to be carefully managed as he can get agitated around loud noises and commotion.

Max would make a great cani sport prospect as he enjoys hiking and canicross. With us he gets approx 2.5 hours of exercise a day plus training and play.

He can be nervous, but takes a lot of confidence and comfort from his handler

Max LOVES playing with toys particularly the flirt pole, tug and loves chews - hooves are his favourite!
He enjoys trick training and game based training but needs set boundaries and expectations - give him an inch he’ll take a mile!!

He requires a quiet secure garden, as he has previously had issues with neighbouring dogs along fences, although no sign of this whilst here with us he has been able to relax and calm down in the garden.

He is crate trained and will sleep all night downstairs, also happy to be left for up to 4 hours in his crate with a chew too.

Max is Muzzle trained and has been wearing it for dogs introductions/ handling.

Toilet training - in progress.

Max will not be suitable to live with cats and small animals.

Responds really well to the Clicker and having clear boundaries.

Fully vaccinated and castrated

1 bite in previous home- details available to serious enquiries on request.

Comes with foster and rescue back up through No Label Dog Rescue

We would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Cathie Sutton for her donations over the last few months - they haven't gone unnoticed 🙌🏽💚

Feedback like this is another reason why we do what we do 🙌🏽

Rehoming often isn't an option people willingly choose. After a significant change in circumstances, Storms previous owner was genuinely stuck for choices and he found himself having to make 'that appointment' at the vets .. until we stepped in. There were some worries that Storm may show some aggression and we saw that first hand when she arrived.

Storm had some issues with resource guarding (crate, toys, food) that we worked tirelessly on, she is an independent dog who very much likes her own space - in the wrong home this could've been a serious issue as the general consensus seems to be that 'all dogs need babied' 🙈 She did have a slight skin allergy which contributed to the grumpiness, thankfully that cleared up and is being managed.

Her new owners have been absolutely incredible with Storm, allowing her to settle in properly and creating boundaries from the start to ensure they are all comfortable and happy. They have taken every piece of advice and guidance given on board and for being first time dog owners (outside of their family homes) - they're absolutely smashing it 👏🏽

We do love a happy ending 💚

Remember Tyson?

The baby of the gang! He's turning into a very handsome young man 😍 Our very own celebrity - loved by everyone who met him with his story being followed by people across the United Kingdom & the United States 🇺🇸

After having a number of homes prior to being left with me at 10 months old, Ty was malnourished, petrified of the world, full of worms and in need of alot of TLC. Taking him to the vets was never an option, we tried contacting breed specific rescues who were all full so he came home with me and we got to work! It wasn't easy, he had the worse case of seperation anxiety I have EVER seen, I had to change our routine to fit the needs of a Lurcher (crack head energy is an understatement 😅🤦🏻‍♀️) there were many sleepless nights but he made excellent progress and thrived with us.

After 3 failed foster homes I was nearly certain and prepared for Ty being a permanent resident here ... until he met Nicola and Dylan. He's settled in extremely well and is taking his big brother roll very seriously!

We could not be happier for Tyson and his new family - live your best life little one 💚

Ollie was getting all the loves from the ladies today during our trip out to Holmelyne Run Around 🐾

He dodged the jumps, put the brakes on at the A frame and tried to drink the water out of the tyres 🫣 BUT .. he took himself through the tunnel with no hesitation and despite being not very agile, LOVES the flirtpole 🤭

We need your help! We have two lovely dogs who need foster homes.

We have Bella a 3 year old Cane Corso who needs a sofa to lie on and someone to love on. She can’t live with other animals but could live with dog savvy 13+ children.
We also have Ollie a 3 year old Rottweiler cross Mastiff, he’s come from a home environment and would very much thrive in a home environment again! He is very unsure about other dogs and hasn’t been socialised enough to live with another dog but he has grown up around children so could live with dog savvy 10+ children.

A huge warm welcome to our new boy

- Currently under assessment

We have been at capacity for some time, funds are low and we had no plans to take in any other dogs .. Then we were left with this handsome chap after an assessment, the vets wasn't an option so we rallied round trying to find him a suitable placement.

An Earth Angel stepped in and saved the day, offering us a kennel space for 2 weeks 🙏🏽 During this time Ollie has been able to decompress properly and come back out of his shell on his own terms - running around the field with his toy or sitting in the sun watching the world go by. He has warmed to being touched and will now quite happily come over for butt scratches and belly rubs. Once he knows he can trust you, you're in 🤭

We know his forever home is out there somewhere and we're here to help him find it. As above, Ollie is not available for adoption yet however we do welcome expressions of interest 💚
