Four abandoned pups received their vaccinations against rabies, parvovirus and distemper this week . This is essential to safeguard their health. Parvovirus and distemper is a real problem in Sri Lanka 🥲. 🐾

This pup was dumped and was suffering from tick fever which is life threatening. We have funded all the veterinary treatment. The little fur baby is making a great recovery ❤️‍🩹 🐾.

We are heart broken , Liam passed over to the spirit world yesterday 💜. He had been to the vets daily for weeks to treat for suspected Trigerminal Nervitis . This left Liam unable to drink himself . He did eat himself last week and we hoped he’d turned a corner but sadly went down hill very quickly and passed away 😓. Fly high beautiful boy 🐾

Sometimes life seems so cruel. Liam was found on the streets suffering from filaria that had caused huge hind leg swelling. Liam had then been hit by a vehicle causing his front leg to be broken in several places . He recovered from filaria, underwent two major operations on his front leg. The second operation being an amputation. Now poor Liam has pneumonia poor boy . Together with Amila’s Mission we will do everything to help save his life ! https://savingsrilankastrays.org/donate/

Who remembers Coco ? She was a dog we helped some time back . She had a badly broken back leg . We covered all her veterinary costs. Yesterday she was well enough to be spayed. The abandoned pups are doing well. We will continue to provide their replacement milk as long as necessary. 🥰🐕🐾

Poor Lucka back at the veterinary hospital after having problems with his pinned leg ! Hoping this is the last time Lucka 🙏🏻🤞🐾💜🐕.

Time for this boys second chemotherapy treatment for his cancerous tumour. Results are promising as tumour is shrinking 🙏🏻🤞🐾

Keke has been under the weather with no appetite. So off to the vets ! Some saline for rehydration and antibiotics prescribed. Let’s hope KeKe is back to normal very soon 🙏🏻🤞🐾🐕
