There is a scam circulating to pay money to get you pet back from vets for a certain amount of money. They have targeted several vet practices in the area.

Dental procedures here at Lockwood are £700 for everything, looking after your pets teeth is so important to reduce further problems. Animals can get periodontal disease, gingivitis, weakening of the jaw bone, build of plaque which is made up of bacteria can also increase the risk of heart disease, and also cause pain (a lot of it) meaning a change in behaviour. 😢

What’s Included in a dental procedure?!

Pre op check with the Vet 🧑‍⚕️
General Anaesthetic and dental assessment 🦷
Dental radiographs 🩻
Scale and polish 🪥
Extractions of teeth needed and suturing of the gums back together 🪡
Bloods done before the procedure 🩸
Fluids throughout the day💧
Both stage one and stage two if needed (this is where the patient will have to come back for a second Anaesthetic and procedure if the procedure if too lengthy this reduces risk to the patient).

We offers these screens as an general MOT of your pet, just like your car needing regular MOT and service, our pets need that too. 🐾

We recommend this to be done every 12 months to ensure your pet is healthy, we then have a base line result recorded on their clinical history, if anything isn't right with your little one it's been noticed early enough too then be investigated further or treated with different treatment options, this then gives a longer better quality of life. 👩‍⚕️❤️
