Absolutely devastating news that a dog walker has lost her life after being mauled by EIGHT dogs. This I believe was an accident waiting to happen and this needs to be regulated before it happens again or before a child or an innocent bystander can be seriously hurt. Numbers of dog walkers are on the increase and the majority of them are fantastic and responsible but there are many who are inexperienced who are unaware of the consequences.
Dog walking is an extremely responsible job which is unregulated and there is currently no guidance for anyone setting up this type of business.
I would personally recommend getting advice from a professional before setting up this type of business as learning about pack behaviour is a must. Keeping the number of dogs to a minimum is also highly advised as on your own with more than 4 rowdy dogs is impossible to manage. I personally had the privilege of the support of Damian Riley who gave me invaluable information and I still regularly ask his advice if I am in any way uncertain.
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen as those poor doggies wouldn’t have had a happy ending 🐶🐾😢

My gorgeous girls having an amazing time on their holiday. Abi just loves Luna her Bestie and Zumba is so happy to be spending time with Rubble my sisters doggie. Not forgetting Liz and Tony who are looking after Henry with their 5 star service I am so grateful for them spoiling him rotten. I am Back to business on Thursday 22nd September. Until then we can’t wait to see everyone very soon. We miss you all 🐾🐶🥰

We are about to experience possibly the hottest two days on record. I am wanting to keep my clients informed on the measures taken to ensure your fur babies will be given the ultimate In protection whilst in my care. We have the following in place:
Fully Air Conditioned indoor space where the doggies will spend most of their time.
Shaded exercise area to chill under the trees for toilet breaks
Water sprinklers on permanently
Paddle pool
Regular sponge down for all doggies.
Grass areas will be soaked to ensure they are not too hot to walk on.
Extra drinks and doggie ice cream.
I am totally committed to the health and well-being of all my clients during this extreme heatwave.
