Thursday
9:00 Newgate for a lovely walk with the newgate gang, Cara and me know almost everyone who walks at this time. Polly always seeks them out for any balls in play

11:00 fields and the labs were in good form, they did bounce up to a bitch walking by in a moment of deafness but as she was in heat I just forgive them. Luckily they knew to be excited but the rest was a complete mystery despite the girl trying to show them. No pups were made. Miss olive quite chipper. Pearl disinterested but content to walk with me.

1:00 final walk at Stanlylands and a very relaxed affair inspite of Connie singing every time we paused. In the end ivy took over as chased her. Oscar then tried to join in and both girls stopped. Connie did give him a play though.

Rather a damp affair but all had fun, a few free spots so my hunch stepped in. Hopefully all back nice and tired.

Tuesday

9:00 fields and a rather damp affair but the primadonni among the pack (mentioning no Winstons or Mables) were stoic. Cara followed her nose happily enough.

11:00 Hank and Zeb had a brill time as always wrestling, the others watched on, jeering 'fight fight fight' occasionally

1:00 final walk down Stanlylands, my girls refusing to play with Oscar while Murphy watched out for treats been dispensed.

Monday

9:00 a very social walk around newgate, cub with me while Lottie walked perfectly to heel whole looking a little suspiciously at the companions we met along the way. No photos I'm afraid

11:00 arrive the fields, boys ran quite far ahead here and there but always returned on command. Lottie still a bit ploddy, Murphy walked through a puddle before realising it was deeper than he thought.

1:00 final walk just bonnie so grabbed my lot and we did a fun circuit of the fields

Thursday

Just the two walks today so romps around the fields. Oscar got chased by Lottie, the labs galloped, miss olive and Molly trudged, Cara squirmed, and pearl trotted . All was are it should be.

Wednesday

9:00 we met Merlin's sister (plus human) , Polly (plus human) and did a lovely walk playful walk around the fields, the shelties and Winston doing some lovely heel work to random legs. Only Lottie showed me loyalty

11:00 a fun romp around newgate, the boys in full play mode and great fun, daisy routinely stealing the toy. Miss olive unamused by the world which I still, ironically, find amusing.

1:00 final walk around the fields and excellent company by all. Oscar frolicked and posed, Cora danced through the grass, bonnie kept an eye on me for treats and Cara watched all in mild worry and suspicion- but did give me a good fuss when called for a treat.

Monday

9:00 a lovely walk around the fields, Polly and Cara competing for the ball while Lottie and cub played, only slightly hampered it seems by cub been attached to my waist.

11:00 just the three in this walk so a very civilised affair around newgate. Daisy actually stayed out the ditch! Cora happily took in different smells while Murphy made his dignified way about before trying to roll in poo

Thursday

9:00 a lovely social walk with all Cara's friends down in newgate. Pearl and Molly happy with the woods and circuit.

11:00 fields and the chase was on!! Labs against Zeb!! A lot of fun was had. Girls left in peace

1:00 final walk at Stanlylands with this lovely bunch. We played along the river and did a lovely sit while a lady sign a dog passed.

Wednesdays walks

9:00 a lovely measured stroll around newgate for pips olds legs. Lottie had a few chases through the woods, Winston avoided been stepped on my labradors and Cara socialised with all her mates we met

11:00 been an age but we went down to wilmslow park and played along the river bank. All of them sent up relish the water. Pearl took on guarding duties until I relieved her. A perfectly behaved pack.

1:00 final walk in the fields, Oscar attempted to play with bonnie and while tempted she did trot to stand behind me for protection. Ivy and Connie seemed more intent on investigating the grass.

All walks in the fields today

9:00 merry gang, Lottie desperate for a chase, Mable tempted. Winston his usual refined self

11:00 by George miss olive was in a good mood, she was bubbling over the entire walk. No clue why. Zeb and Hank had their usual wrestling match while the others watched on

1:00 final walk with this lovely bunch, lovely heel work through out for edible payments.

Thursday

9:00 lovely walk around the fields, I even spotted when Mollie decided she'd had enough (around the 15 minutes mark) and stepped on three long line as her bum disappeared towards the van. Cara happy to meet Chris, Lottie desperate for a play but no takers.

11:00 fields again, and the boys chased each other across the fields. Miss olive in brilliant spirits, pearl my Shadow as always

1:00 final walk down Stanlylands, really beautiful autumn weather so a lovely end of the week. Some more painfully awkward attempts to play between Oscar and Connie- they tried to include Laila but she snarled till they went away. Ivy pretended not to know either of them.

Wednesday

9:00 newgate and we met Sue with a while load of friendly people. Winston needed a few pick ups as there were a lot of feet about. Lottie had a few excursions through the foliage.
11:00 fields and a lot of fun was had by all with the beagle, only Cora didn't bother with them but she enjoyed my new whistle and galloped over every time I blew.
1:00 final walk in the fields and with my chill gang. We did a large circuit of the field in perfect harmony. Oscar and Connie are finally playing well together after weeks of trying and confusing each other. Bonnie happy to watch.,

Busy day but all dogs perfectly behaved. Every walk in the fields so all dogs are stretching their legs. Actually okay weather despite the forecast.

Monday's walks

9:00 Newgate and a lovely sunny affair, cub and pip keeping me company while Lottie and Polly skipped about

11:00 to the fields and they've been cut! The labs did their usual galloping, miss olive very cheerful after a bit of persuasion. All very well behaved.

1:00 back to the fields, Cora and bonnie bouncing about like spring lambs when the sun came out

Tuesday

A much better day, but still near constant rain. First walk I kept a few on the lead just because I knew they hated that weather. Polly not at all bothered.
11:00 lovely watching the boys play again, and very proud when we nearly came face to face with two dogs in the lead and Zeb and Hank came straight back. Girls perfect as always, Murphy plodded rather than skipped but happy enough considering the weather.
1:00 final walk around the fields, squelchy but nicely quiet. Everyone perfect, Cora extra attentive.

The only photo taken today, it didn't stop raining at any point!! All walks were grand, in grumbled about the weather, bonnie, Murphy agreed. The rest weren't bothered in the least about the rain.

Thursday
9:00 Newgate and a lovely social walk with two or three other walkers and their dogs, all perfectly behaved through out. I'm afraid phone was in the car. Molly happy to about twenty minutes but it was wet.

11:00 boys galloping in the fields hunting and eating the beagle before it was the beagles turn to eat the Simba. Girls more dignified.

1:00 final walk i the fields, a nice trot around the edges of all the fields and back. Bonnie reporter for every treat with Connie and ivy in turn, Oscar strode on ahead.

Wednesday
9:00 fields and a lovely trot about the place, Lottie keen to get Polly to play once cub rejoined me on the lead. Winston a loyal Shadow as ever.
11:00 Newgate abs bloody busy! Hounds were good though, Hank yelled his friendly greeting, daisy inspected, miss olive watched casually and Cora did her thing. I tried to get miss olive to watch and learn from how Cora dealt with a thorn in her paw, waited for me to get to get, allowed me to inspect, did a test circuit of my legs to see if I did it right and walk calmly away.
1:00 final walk of the day in the field, three dogs in line behind and one in front. My chill gang.

Sorry you lack of post, spent my evening staring intently at my cat and trying to decide whether he was terminally ill- seems not.

Monday

9:00 Newgate and a load of people I didn't know we're there! Think everyone was trying to avoid later showers that didn't actually arrive. They all behaved perfectly, well except for my dog who was marginally better than his average naughty self because he had a stomach ache.

11:00 back to newgate with the boys and daisy. Labs galloped, Murphy plodded and daisy marshalled. Everyone stayed true to themselves. Passerby remarked on how well controlled I had them and I'm nearly positive he wasn't been sarcastic.

1:00 final walk at Stanlylands, a lovely walk up to the pavilion fields and back round. Once again perfectly behaved with the exception of my dog, a different one, who yelled at a passer by. I called them back with no harm done, well waved Cora once she glanced back - love the way she gallops when she sees, such a fan girl. Ivy and Connie hadn't moved an inch, watching with no interest at the excitement.

Oscar trying to play with Connie, Connie so desperate to play back but still a little scared

1:00 enduring the rain with these amateur sheep dogs.

11:00 Wilmslow park, Daisy and Laila not eager to play with a bemused Zeb, I mean why would I have brought them along if not to play with him? Hank obliged of cause.

1:00 can’t fight the genes, oh Barney 🤣🤣🤣 the collies look frozen.

9:00 a great run around the fields, Molly staying with me while the other scampered

1:00 final walk, Murphy very much doing his own thing while the others scampered about. Very peaceful and tranquil walk in the sun. The weather makes a big difference.

9:00 fun walk down Wilmslow park with Cub and Lottie enjoying partial sibling fun. Polly did her own thing and all were well behaved on the whole- there was one incident of squirrel chasing by Cub where his earring failed.

1:00 happy dogs chasing a tit of a sheltie supplied by yours truly to entertain. Barney was instantly excited to see him and they played chase the entire walk, wherever Barney rested Merlin would nip his tail in provocation. Connie joined in here and there but Ivy not tempted.

1:00 turns out every group is better with a sheltie. Barney very much enjoyed the new play partner, Lottie a little tired still but joined in here and there. Cora shoved her head in every hole.

1:00 final walk of the week and perfectly behaved through out. Did a few recall drills and they were stars.

11:00/1:00 sorry forgot to take photos with the one o’clock. 11 we went to Wilmslow park and they all played with the lurcher through out until all tired and complained about the rain

Recall drills with the whistle, mainly for the bloody sheltie!

9:00 apologies, I seemed to have neglected taking any at all, no idea why. We went to stanlylands for a change and explored the river bank. 11:00 a lovely change, went to Newgate but found a dog water with about eight dogs unloading so decided to change route. We took to the back paths around the peat bog and raspy enjoyed the change. Dogs were perfect through out.
