Just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, most of all good health!
These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random s**t and send it on.
So, after all I just want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018!
You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for.

Our latest review. Makes it all worthwhile ❤️👌🏻

This November I sent my dog on the four week residential course with Damian and his team, I was very apprehensive as I have never done somthing like this with my dog however I am so glad I did.

My dog went with issues ranging from poor recall, same s*x aggression (intact males) to severe resource guarding over food and household items such as the sofa. Damian, Becky and Liv sent me daily updates/videos with updates on his progress and to advise on his general well being which I really appreciated.

At the end of the 4 weeks I had a day with Becky in my house to go over everything I needed to do and she was incredibly helpful and reassuring. To say my dog has changed for the better would be a huge understatement- I finally enjoy having a dog again, he can be trusted off leash anywhere with perfect recall, isn’t phased by any dogs we come across and hasn’t showed any resource guarding behaviour since he’s been back.

Dogs worrying sheep isn't just a seasonal issue.

NSA will be launching the annual sheep worrying survey in January ahead of the 2026 awareness week (30th March - 6th April)

To go alongside this, NSA has recently introduced a dog trainers list to share with those looking for sheep worrying avoidance training.

Milo came in for a four week residential training program with us. His owner was having major problems with his recall, especially if there were any Live animals around. It was impossible to get him back.

He also pulled horrendously on the lead and had very little control in the house.

This is a few clips of his journey with us.

HELPERS NEEDED

we are looking for Helpers during the week to start early and help out with some of the dog layouts and cleaning and feeding jobs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come and learn about behaviour and observed behaviourists and experienced/skilled trainers working with behavioural issues with Dogs. Training gun Dogs at the top level and working with protection Dogs as well as general Pet dog obedience.

The position is unpaid and will require someone to have their own car and be physically fit and strong. The repayment for the help will be in the training and experience you will receive and learn which is invaluable.

We are looking for people of Monday to Friday to come and help out. If you think this is something that you would be interested in please send me information about yourself before we have a chat over the phone.

2 of our residential dogs out practicing up alderley edge today.

The doodle cross has some very complex aggression issues as well that we are dealing with for his owner. But like everything with Dogs, first and foremost the obedience of the control needs to be solid in all environments.

I’m really pleased with his progress and with the progress of the working cocker spaniel as well who has been fairly straightforward to train but nevertheless a lot of work has been put in to ensure that he’s progressing the way he should do

We are now booked up until February next year. But do get in touch if you’re interested in reserving a place and get in your dog to a high standard of obedience and control.

I’m looking for a small medium size dog for an elderly but extremely active client.

She’s had a bad experience with a rescue Kennels so we DONT want to get one from a rescue.

We want to adopt one from somebody’s home where we can assess the dog and make sure it’s good with people other dogs and easy for her to handle.

Unfortunately, she’s just lost her dog. This needs to be something straightforward with no behavioural issues. An older dog would be okay. She’s prepared to put training in if necessary, but it can’t be too much of a handful. If anybody knows of anything that might be appropriate or someone looking to rehome their dog, this will be a superb forever Home.
